I didn't expect online lessons to be so effective and they were in fact much more interactive than face to face lessons where my teacher, teacher iris, is able to mark our work and give us instant feedback. It is a quick constructive feedback and I am able to identify my mistakes easily. As for the AKLC chat group, the teachers there are all reliable and helpful. So, thank you AKLC!

Although I was initially worried when the lessons went online, teacher Ancella conducted the online lessons so well my kids always look forward to her class. Children and teenagers these days really need a teacher they can relate to, I will recommend AKLC to anyone who needs tuition.
T	Tyra Woo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi, My teacher is Miss Iris Lim. I have been with her since P5 (2021). The lessons she conducts are very interesting and she makes use of the learning materials. When a student does not understand a key concept, she would reiterate that point to help that student and comes up with examples. From AL3, my marks improved to AL2 which is because of the notes that the center provided was easy to understand and revise for the examinations. I have seen the improvement of my score and is very thankful for AKLC and Miss Iris Lim for their guidance. Thank you.

That was until my mom signed me up under Ms Iris around mid 2020 and slowly but surely, my science improved from a B to A. During PSLE, I managed to get an A for science :) Now in sec 1 I'm coping well with my science. Ms Iris is also a very enthusiastic teacher when it comes to teaching us as well. She likes to tell jokes that nobody finds funny as well and we find it entertaining looking at her laugh at her own joke.
C	Chung A.C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I chance onto AKLC on my email and I was very sceptical as past tuition Teachers which I engaged were disappointing but I can’t find the right one so I stick to the Teachers since my child was in P4 - P6. Don’t know how many Teachers or tuition centre i hv changed. After I went to the parent zoom talk by AKLC. I am very much confident that this should be the right tuition for my child. After my child PSLE, in Nov school holiday, I straight away started with AKLC. My child commented that AKLC Teachers are very professional and guided him very well. He is able to understand clearly and able to use what he learnt and apply to his school work. He is much confident going to Sec 1. If last time, I had met AKLC, I believe my son would hv score even better P6 AL grade. Hopefully moving on, I hope my child under the guidance of AKLC Teachers, would transit my the love of learning thus have better grades in his secondary school years as the subjects gets tougher.
M	Michael Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I signed my child up after attending the webinars to try out online lessons. i am quite surprise that my child likes the lessons so much and since then has been looking forward to all the lessons taught by Teacher Iris, Adeline and Cell. The way how the teachers conducted the lessons is so interesting and they can simplify the context in a way easier for children to understand with games and also many online platforms. i always hear laughter and screams from my child..i didn't expect online lessons to be so interactive and effective. my child also improved after attending online lessons. Thanks AKLC for making learning fun and easy for my child.

AKLC does not simply issue out worksheets weekly, but the educators are also able to share their countless years of experience on the topics, providing us with very simple to understand, yet effective methods of tackling the various questions we may come across. There is also a telegram group chat that is for all AKLC students, where students can share the questions or concepts that they are unsure of. The educators are then able to give feedback promptly, where everyone can learn from each other's queries. All in all, AKLC is a great place for students who are weak in their subjects and require professional assistance from excellent teachers. Definitely give it a shot!
