Their systems are faulty and they have thousands of unhappy customers. My experience is their booking system was faulty - they took money for a booking they could not complete fully And now its 40 days on and I still do no have a refund. I have referred to CASE (consumer association for Singapore). Better to go with a company that is properly regulated - e.g. a British or American company.

Ridiculous platform and support. I booked a room with breakfast included, but the final booking confirmation shows breakfast not included in benefits. Contacted support immediately after seeing it, support told me he was able to reproduce the issue which tells me it's a bug. Later on another support rep asked me to provide screenshot while doing the booking at that time to prove that I selected the one with breakfast, which is ridiculous and unreasonable to expect users to screenshot the booking process down at all. So I said I don't have that, and they replied me saying then they concluded that I selected the one without breakfast. What? Ridiculous response that doesn't make sense and not helpful at all. It's completely unreasonable to expect users to provide that as proof. How is it even possible that they can conclude I selected the one without just because I didn't screenshot it down? I've been a long time user of Agoda pre-covid and never experienced any issues. This time is the most terrible. Will not book from Agoda in the future ever again.

agoda cancel the confirmation and claim got send out email!! but, we never received it!! we went down on the actual day and the hotel was turned to quarantine facility and hotel told us our confirmation was cancel by agoda!! very lousy service. AGODA NEVER ENSURE CUSTOMER CONFIRM RECEIVE THE CANCELLATION!! WE HAVE TO LAST MIN TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL TO STAY!! VERY BAD SERVICE

Bad experience with Agoda, been using their svc for 15more years but this time so upset with Agoda. we've experience thrown to the road in the middle of the night with two toddler on tow all because Agoda unprofessionaly doing their job. we have booked and paid our hotel got all the confirmation sent by agoda few days before checkin. but on the day we check in rejected by the hotel and there is no way to contact agoda since we in foreign land and no hotel available anymore at that time(peak season) i know Agoda and hotel maybe gotten into management issue but they supposed to responsible to us as customer instead of throw this issue under the carpet!

I booked a hotel through Agoda. When I reached the place at 9pm, the hotel told me there were no rooms available. They had closed the booking on Agoda but Agoda’s system had an error. Fast forward 3 hours later at 12am, I’m still waiting for alternative accommodation from Agoda, in a foreign country. Unsure what my phone bill will be like with 3 hours of roaming calls. Please avoid Agoda if you don’t want last minute surprises on your vacation.

Agoda is no longer my preferred online platform for hotel booking! Now if you book hotel thru them, they will send you a link to upload credit card details & passport page, initially I thought it was a fake website and when I confirmed is new rules I went ahead to book it but the verification is not instant & if you try to cancel their self service platform is not user friendly at all! It kept re-directing me to where I started! No SG telephone number shown on the platform to contact them so I Google & finally managed to find a SG number! Why can’t they share it via the same platform?! 1st person said I had submitted the card & passport so cannot cancel booking. Called again trying to speak with another staff, the 2nd person said will check & call within 1 hour but nothing happened after 3 hours! Tried calling & spoke with the 3rd personal & finally cancelled my booking without paying a single cent! No more Agoda for me! The one star is meant for the 3rd customer service whom helped me resolved my problem after nearly 6 hours.

I have used Agoda for hotels numerous times and was happy with the service however I warn all potential customers.. DO NOT book FLIGHTS with AGODA. The payment and confirmation systems is faulty. During the payment process there was an error. I then purchased the plane ticket through the airline directly. I checked back with AGODA and the booking appeared as pending and after many emails and phone calls with agoda they still have not been able to clarify and refund the flight booking.

Once upon a time Agoda was an awesome platform for booking and now it's a nightmare. I wonder how Singapore Government is allowing such a fraudulent company to survive in Singapore. I booked for Hotel Laila's County at Pondicherry, India but I when I checked in, I was denied because the hotel is overbooked and rooms are full. I have paid online for my booking and there is no refund. Agoda will say Breakfast and Parking will be available but it's just a dream only. The property replied to me it's overbooked and denied check-in but Agoda is saying reservation were available on the said date. Imagine me I was denied check-in at 10:30pm night by the hotel standing helpless with my family. Never use Agoda #boycottAgoda
