Looks can be deceiving. White plate white rice white chicken. Lacked colour at first look. Wait till you dig into it. Really tasty. Chicken is moist and tender. Rice done just just nice. Free soup also carried a light flavour. Yum yum.

Saw a long line the last time I was there. Decided to see what the fuss was all about. Ordered the roasted chicken rice for $3.20 to takeaway. Barely any roasted skin, not the most flavour some rice but the chicken was tender and not too dry. Maybe I had high expectation due to the long queue I witness, but it was a 3 star rating for me. Braved the rain and wet road to drive down and purposefully try it today, alas, the trip wasn’t worth it. Quite a mediocre packet of chicken rice.

The rice is very special unlike any normal rice. Plus the chicken meat is very generous with the asking price of SGD3.20 if compare to others one which I tried is less impressive so far with the meat. Plus there is a healhty soup to serve with and not including with take away order. I ride myself all the way from Choa Chu Kang to Yew Tee just to eat it by bicycle. The food court is nice and pleasant and less noisy. The food court is not far from the entrance of Kranji Camp 2.

Good sauce makes the meat tasty. Tried the whole roasted chicken. They actually have different sizes catering 2 or 3 or 4 people. Can pay by paynow, which is convenient especially you are buying a lot. Rice is fragrant. Chilli sauce taste too diluted. Overall is a not bad chicken rice, might try their fried chicken next time. Quite a long walk from yew tee mrt.

service lady boss is nice. even make sure i get enough soup when i tried to order take out the previous time. asking if my personal container is too small. appreciate her kindness. the soup changes daily. unlike any other chicken rice i had before. i eat it almost every lunch or alternate days. their side veggies can be either sour cucumber 开胃菜 or normal sliced cucumber. their chicken is tender enough as i always order the breast meat as well as their braised eggs is soft. update: the owner recognised me after many visit and even know i like their soup. a big bowl of soup as shown in the photo ?

This was the stall with ‘that one longest queue’ in the whole coffeeshop (around 15 people before me) ? Would have to say they were fast and efficient though. Ordered a Chicken for 3 pax (mixed roasted with steamed) and 2 shares of rice. The chicken rice was very fragrant. Steamed chicken was soft and tender while the roasted chicken seems a bit dry even though I tried soaking it up with the sauce. Taste-wise was just nice, not too salty. It’s a good chicken rice place but with that queue, I kind of had higher expectations.

I am not usually a fan of steamed chicken. But I thought I wanted to give it a try. Instead of the usual double dose of roasted drumstick goodness, I have opted for 1 steamed chicken drumstick and 1 roasted one. The steamed chicken took me by surprise with its rich taste. Of course, the roasted drumstick is equally good. My only qualm - which may be an one off case, the rice were a little undercooked.

Worst chicken rice I ever had. Chilli sauce watery, probably got no budget so they add more water to it. Rice is tasteless. As for the chicken, nothing to rave about. Don’t understand what’s the hype about this stall. MEDIOCRE food.
