Ah Fook Motor

Bought a 2nd hand bike which had severe battery issues. Brought it back to fix and had to pay the towing fee. Asked them repeatedly if the bike was alright; they said yes. A week later, the bike's battery died again. Towed it back but refused to pay this time. Now, roughly 10 days after the bike was 'repaired' again, I had to get it towed back for the third time. I don't remember the staff apologising once too. A very cumbersome and stressful experience. To be fair, the mechanic was quite a nice guy and very polite in his dealings but still I personally would not recommend Ah Fook Motor to anyone.

Great place for general service. An Malaysian Indian does great job here and does only what's needed. Superrrrr crowded always though ,so be prepared to wait a while

I don't have a habit of leaving reviews but I will make an exception for Ah Boy. I have visited Ah Fook Motor twice. My FZ16ST had a wiring issue a few months back, and more recently, an insensitive rear drum brake. Ah Boy managed to suss out the problems very quickly. He is a honest and capable mechanic. Many thanks to Ah Boy and Ah Fook Motor.

No good, not honest dealer. Cheat customers. Don’t go for servicing. Engine oil 1 litre put only 850ml inside, the remaining don’t know gone where. High speed vibrate till my hand numb, engine hot till red light pop ups. still can tell me normal. I ask how to solve, cannot give me solution. No choice, buy 1 more bottle ask them put the whole bottle 1 litre go in. After that everything back to normal. We paid for the whole bottle oil, you give the whole bottle. Trying to act smart, for what?? Scammer shop.

Horrible experience, spend 3 separate days settling one small issue, never got it done, change other parts for me and claimed that its done, claimed my bike at 7.45pm, rode off and issue is the same though the spare has been changed, went back the next day same thing happened, issued not solved and they claim 100% settled, went back the last time because they say will settle for me, put there half a day, and then say spare part will only come 1 month later. Can't be bothered to go back again

Honest and long review regarding overall service - First time going to this workshop-Outsourced a towing service for my bike over there as it’s the only workshop opens at 9am. Towing service didn’t update me what time they arrived and claims will pass my phone number to the workshop and they will give me a call. Neither one call me for an update- busy I guess? Assuming the workshop already did the services that I asked for so I can collect it by the time I end school (Post night shift and school afterwards FYI). Called at about 3.30pm, surprisingly nothing was done to my bike. One of the mechanic clarify with me again what’s my bike issue and what kind of services I want, requested regular oil and filter change and change battery as it is totally drained unable, to start my bike. He acknowledged it and told me will be done in an hour as there’s quite a number of bike. “2 hours after calling”Came down at 5.30pm, my bike parked outside with sticky label on windshield with my contact number. Approached one of the mechanics, claims they have not done anything yet. He asked me again what service do I want for the bike. Trying to be respectful and understanding to them so I just let it slipped off and wait again. Since 5.30pm until 7pm, my bike was untouched. Saw about 10 motorcycles that just came in , majority are Malaysian bikes (no offence to my Malaysian friends out there, you’re not at fault), they were attended immediately. Services such as changing of EO and filter, tightening and lubricating chain, the most unnecessary service was checking tyre pressure and pump(seriously?!). My bike was there the whole day, nothing was done but they willingly and immediately attend to the ones who just came. I’ll be slightly happy and tolerant if they say things like “Thanks for your patience or sorry to keep you waiting “ (didn’t expect or hope for it anyway). Time check- 7.30pm, bike in workshop, they did everything I asked for till 8pm. Total hours of waiting time - 9am-8pm(11hours). Total hours physically waiting at workshop- 5.30pm-8pm(2.5hours). In a nutshell- was the bike servicing good? - nothing special, outstanding or terrific. If you like to waste your time waiting, by all means you can come to this workshop. I gladly wanted to try this workshop as it is the most reviewed workshop around that area, but sadly my experience is not like what I expected. Losing one customer like me might be nothing to you, but if this kind of customer service keeps repeating, it might affect the other customers as time pass by . All the best ✌️.

Mechs here are well versed in their craft. They know their stuff and will not chop you unnecessarily. What is needed to change they will inform, what is not needed as well will be informed to you. Honest people doing honest business. Small shop so don't bring your Ducatis or BMWs and expect PML service.

Bought 2nd hand bike and worthy. Used for 2 years and still working condition. Recommend this place.
