Ah Liang Thai Chicken Rice - Golden Mile Complex

Chance upon this Thai chicken rice stall inside Golden Mile shopping complex via social media. Decided to check out this place for lunch since it was near my office and I wanted to grab some grocery from the Thai supermarket. Reached there slightly after 12pm, there wasn’t a crowd but the owner was busy preparing takeaway order. Apart from the chicken rice, there is also roast pork and charsiew as well a few other side dishes. Order their chicken rice which was SGD$5, opted out the liver and I believe I was given more chicken meat instead. Portion was quite generous, rice was on the dry side but very flavorful and fragrance. Chicken meat was smooth and tender. Even the soup is tasty as well. The thai chicken rice chili condiment is also different as compared to the local one. The sauce wasn’t that spicy but more on the savoury and tangy note. Overall, the food was not bad, seems like a relatively new stall for me.
