โ โ โ โ โ Delicious plate of hokkien mee. Wet and juicy. With sufficient prawn flavor in the sauce.
Not the best in sg but definitely worth a try.

โ โ โ โ โ Bought the large size of fried hokkien mee at $10 which comes in banana leaf. The portion is big but there are not many ingredients - It has prawns and sotong but doesn't have any pork belly and pork lard. The noodles is too soft and they got stuck together. The chilli doesn't go well with the noodles too.

โ โ โ โ โ Ordered thru Grab for lunch. $6 portion comes with 2 slices of sotong n 2 prawns, one of which left the tail! Very stingy in terms of ingredients but never make up for it in terms of taste! Noodles texture is mushy, no prawn stock flavor and lousy sambal. Totally banned in my list!

โ โ โ โ โ Hokkien mee is wet and quite rich in prawn stock flavour. Taste is above average. However, not 5 stars as the portion for the $4 is not enough (might be just enough for kids or ladies). For $6.50 medium size, it is just right.. but at this price, it might not be worth it.

โ โ โ โ โ Ordered the $4 packet just to try as already ordered my mains. Uncle was persuading me to take the $6 but I declined. Noodles were slightly mushy when home but acceptable to me cos takeaway Hokkien mee tends to be soggy after a while. Could hv given more ? though. Overall flavour was pretty decent despite no wok hei.

โ โ โ โ โ Ordered the $4 although they were pushing to order the $6 version. $4 is actually enough for an average eater. Not too bad hokkien mee although it doesnt have the wok hey taste and smell that i like about hokkien mee. Uses a mix of thick and thin bee hoon.

โ โ โ โ โ Tldr: For the price of $6.50(medium), it is not cheap hawker food. It does its job of being a fried prawn noodle, though tons of room to improve on.
Taste wise, it lacks any form of lard or prawn taste. It taste rather bland and watery, perhaps due to abit too muay beansprouts. It has a slight charred taste here and there which I appreciate, but other than that, the taste has nothing to rave about.
Noodle is okay. A standard stir fry noodle/beehoon mix, although too much liquid in the pan when frying I suppose, as some turns out a tad too soft as compared to a truly 'fried' noodle texture.
Quantity is absolutely too little. 3 prawns is acceptable but the serving itself is not enough for an adult male.
The one nice thing going for them is the chilli which adds flavor to the noodle. It really does save the noodle quite a bit.
Probably wont return again for the price, quantity and taste - unless I just want to satisfy the fried prawn mee craving.
