โ โ โ โ โ iโve been patronising this stall since i was in my teens (iโm mid-30s now), so i suppose itโs been a good decade and more. the dishes here never fail to disappoint!! and they taste just as tasty and wholesome as ever. i love their ipoh hor fun while my family loves the char siew wantan mee. the dumpling soup is good too... everythingโs good!! the husband-wife team are a friendly and kind couple. queue builds up towards noon time but itโs worth the wait!

โ โ โ โ โ The luscious char siew can almost make you drool... especially when it was brought out fresh with the sauce still dripping. - looks are deceiving unfortunately, I prefer they have char siew like 88 Roast Meat or Meng Meng -> perfect match then.
I wanna give this a 5 star rating cos the old couple is very friendly and I can tell your the noodles and wanton sets the standard for WTM and can easily rival HK branded ones!
A must try and must eat.

โ โ โ โ โ Delicious and well dressed wanton mee. The noodles were springy and tender char siew slices. The wantons had a good ratio of filling to skin.
The chili spiciness level is quite mild and i wished it would be spicier.
Ordered the big portion $4.50. Be prepared that this stall seems to always have a queue.

โ โ โ โ โ Definitely one of the best local wanton noodles stalls. The char siew alone is on par with the best roasted meat stalls. The well marinated char siew comes in both fatty and lean. Noodles have a crunchy and smooth texture. The soup has a rich flavour and definitely not those plain ones. I prefer to go with the green chillies which are fresh with soury taste. The main star is the wantons. Fully packed with fillings that is addictive. My big plate ($4.50) comes with 5 wantons and I regretted not ordering more.

โ โ โ โ โ Came to Empress Market specially for Ah Wing's Wanton Mee. Available in $3.50 / $4.50, this plate of $4.50 consists of generous slices of char siew, 5 wantons and some green vegetables.
.
Hong Kong style of springy noodles and their char siew is quite tender. I think those who doesn't like fatty kind of char siew will love it. I feel that the highlight is their Wanton. One of the best I had tried, it's wrapped firmly with generous minced meat packed with flavour. I can understand why there are so many regulars came here to buy boxes of Frozen Wanton back home now.

โ โ โ โ โ Wow โฆ this stall serves one of the best Ipoh Hor Fun that I have ever tried. The hor fun was cooked perfectly and it was very silky. Picking the hor fun up required skills as it glided down almost all the time. Perhaps my skill in using the chopsticks is lacking, but the joy of slurping up the gravy with the hor fun made the experience more enchanting. The dark brown sauce was not salty or too starchy. Though it was slightly watery, in my opinion, it gave a perfect balance to hor fun and its ingredients. To me, Ah Wing is the best place to go and enjoy a plate of Ipoh Hor Fun.
If you are interested in prawn dumpling soup, you are in for a treat. I love the broth and the dumplings. With each bite of the dumpling, I could taste the meaty pork (with a hint of fat) and a part of the prawn. It is a perfect combination.
Thumbs Up for this wonderful hawker food. BTW, the owners of this stall is always very cheerful and not stuck up too.
