Went down today for a change of rims. Huge variety, and this attendant: Jun, was very helpful and patient. As the workshop was rather busy, he finished changing the set of rims, installed the air pressure sensor in about 1h30min by himself. Quite pleased with the efficiency. Look for him for some genuine advice!

suspected my front right tyre was punctured, and happened on hari raya day, went to this shop immediately for a checkup, and indeed the mechanic there found a nail in it. Asked whether it is ok to patch or fill, mechanic recommended fill as the nail poked thru the tyre thread wear indicator area. All for $6, thanks!

Thank you to AhFu for replying promptly on WhatsApp yesterday! Much appreciated to Kheng on the very fast installation of the 4 Tourador tyres on my Honda Shuttle and answering my queries. Also grateful there was no hard-selling of the rims or more expensive tyres. ???? The driving experience has been very pleasant, comfortable and smooth so far! Has been trying to align my tyres since 2021, even distributor can’t settle when i changed the tyres with them. So the super misaligned tyres have worn out so much that I have go and find 1 professional to change all 4 tyres pre-maturely. Jun from AL Toh Guan has done a great job, with 4 new tyres and sophisticated alignment tools, all problems have been resolved. Almost like a new ride!

Absolutely appalling. Mechanic was rude and dismissive after damaging my rims. Did not handle with care at all, and after badly scratching every lug hole in my rim and I confronted him, he just said “this is not my problem”. Also charged more than other tyre shop for a simple job.

’m writing this review at 115am as I’m waiting beside my car with two tyres fixed and the remaining two taken out. The recovery truck apparently ran out of battery halfway and with no proper apology or explanation, the service guy said he has to go back to the workshop to recharge the truck. Still in disbelief that the 24 hour truck I called for to fix my tyres needs to be fixed themselves. Firstly, I called for them to come fix my car punctured Tyre. Car was parked at my office car park. But when they arrived, I was asked to drive out to another road to look for them with the reason being they can’t enter the mall car park cause of height restrictions. As if this isn’t bad enough, their own truck broke down halfway while fixing the tyres. As of this moment, service recovery zero. I had to call the boss who had no clue what was happening. After explaining, he simply said it’s not within expectation that his service truck will break down. So right now I’m stranded roadside with a car that only has two wheels fixed and they can’t even give me a proper time as to when they are coming back to fix the remaining two wheels. Yes, some circumstances may be unexpected but the service recovery is far from satisfactory. At least give me a proper time and a proper solution rather than leave my car roadside with two wheels removed.

The awesome thing about AL Tyres is that they're open EVERYDAY. I visited their Toh Tuck outlet today (Sunday) and was assisted by Jun, who happened to be on his lunch break so I asked him to carry on eating while I browsed their wheel collection. After he was done with lunch he came and asked what he could help me with today and I said I needed new tyres because my current ones were worn. He offered me some suggestions as to which ones I might consider and I settled for the KUMHO Ecsta PS31. I had originally wanted something with a taller side wall (60) so I could fill up the wheel well a bit more but he assured me that given my lowered ride height, I should run 55s instead, to avoid any rubbing issues. I was convinced and he proceeded with the change. Throughout the process, Jun was very thorough and careful. He pointed out certain things I should take note of and offered tips to help prolong the life of my tires, given the amount of camber I'm running. Jun is very personable and friendly; and I thoroughly appreciate the fact that he wasn't "just doing his job". All things being equal (e.g. product, equipment, pricing, etc), a personal connection for me is the deciding factor when choosing where I spend my money and I can confidently say that Jun has definitely made me a future returning customer.
