★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gentleman with the glasses and graying hair running this stall was extremely rude when I returned with clearly pink RAW satay chicken. I just wanted it grilled a bit more but had to leave with no food due to the disrespect I received.
According to him it wasn't raw because people eat lamb pink so people should eat chicken pink too (?)

At Evenings Satay stalls opened on roadsides and road converted as dining area. Unique and different experience at heart of the city. Must visit place in Singapore. Chicken, mutton, beef, prawn satays & rice bags served here..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always love this stall (satay 3&4) but the recent trip was sort of a let down. The chicken was uncooked, perhaps they are frozen too long, and the ketupak is came packed in plastic not the original leaves wrapping, which made the rice tasteless.
will not judge the stall, will still continue to patronise and hope its jus a one off incident

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the satay houses delivering quite an authentic taste. Located just outside the hustle of Lau Pa Sat. Mutton and chicken were quite excellent. Prawns were good and prices were reflective of the zone. Beef was slightly chewy. Dipping sauces were great. Staff were frantic to place orders, yet attentive. Tends to get too busy past 7pm.
No parking nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the stalls located closer to Robinson Rd. Very good satay. Mutton/beef/chicken are very tender and fragrant, I think juicier than other satay I have tried at Lau Pa Sat. Shrimp satay were decent and of good size. If you are in the mood, the babat (beef tripe) satay has a clean and quite comforting taste. Sauces and toppings are all spot on.
