Rude and aggressive is the general vibe of workers here. We ordered their satay and some food from another stall (which took a long time to arrive after our satay was done). The workers asked if we were ordering anything else, otherwise the seats need to be vacated for "their customers". I saw them SHOUT at a foreign indian table about this as well. Btw their satay was OK only.

10years back i hate to go laupasat as it is a tourist place people will always con you. While i was patronising Ayer Rajah Food Centre. I saw this satay shop with Lau Pa Sat on it. So i when to this stall and saw they only sell satay in set. I was alone i didn't know they sell alacarte satay so i ordered this set $36 consist of 40sticks satay and 4rice to dine in. I was serve by this lady in pink hair. So when i order i sat infront , the lady came to me ask how many pax. I said 1 pax only. She told me that 40sticks of satay for 1 person is impossible to finish unless im a foodie/food eater. She told me to order alacarte. Im touch because honest people do exist. It was not about the money . I dont mind paying but the integrity that i was touch . I will come back again!

Wow this was amazing! There's a lot of satay options in this area, but make sure to try this one! The meats are charred to perfection. The prawns are good as well but I much prefered the meat. Don't

It’s definitely not the satay I know and brought up to know. The two most evident ingredients in the satay marinate are lemongrass and turmeric. Lemongrass for the fragrant and flavour; and turmeric for the colour. The peanut sauce should only be peanuts and the spices. Here, the chicken satay is red. And pinkish peanut sauce has baked beans in it (I suppose it’s used to thicken the satay sauce).

Decided to check this place out after reading all the reviews here.. went on a less busy day and got my order within 20 mins.. the satay gravy was thick and not watery like other places.. the meat is tender but the highlight was the black sauce that dips with the prawn.. the taste just hits your bud and sending your palate on a gastronomic experienced!!! keep up your friendly customer service especially to the lady who was manning the store, you served us new customer as though we have been your patron for ages, really something we are looking forward to on our next visit! Kudos to your great food and customer service, keep it up!!!

It's number 6 amongst the rest of them. What set them apart from the rest is not only the good taste, (can't beat freshly charcoal grilled satay) but the energy of the staffs, and so are the records and awards they were holding. I'm sure all the satay stores there are very good, but me and my local malay friend (a foodie) liked this one, I tend to trust her.

Used to buy frequently at this stall when i was staying at West Coast. There used to be a very young chap with pink hair haha. I would always buy when he is the one burning. The satay is not too burned, tender and sweet. Gravy was okay, not so diluted nor too thick. Price was reasonable. Keep a look out when buying. I don't know if the young guy is still there. But not to miss when he is the one burning ?
