S	Shaalini Subra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time eating here. Customer service could have been better. They were so rude. We ordered cheese & mushroom roti John. However, it came with mutton, cheese and mushroom. Told them that they gave us the wrong order but he told us off in a rude manner that “our mushroom & cheese roti john always comes with mutton.” We were so dumbfounded by it because it was nowhere in the menu stating that it comes with mutton. Moreover, he told us off that he could not change our order and that we should have told him earlier if we wanted only cheese & mushroom! ? After the rude encounter, we didn’t really enjoy our food as the mood was already ruined. So if you are planning to go there, give clear instructions and order. On the side note: They are nice to regulars.

Not sure if there is a change of operator, had some minor renovation i think. Food is decent, missed their #Otah, #MeeRebus and #MeeSoto. The otah seller is no longer around though.
S	Siva Jegan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there on the May 1st afternoon to buy 1 packet of biryani for takeaway, to my disappointment, the guy wearing spectacles served mutton with full of bones . I paid $8.00 for a biryani which has no meat at all. This is totally unacceptable.

P	Poem on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This staff at the drink counter of yours is very rude. He answered angrily to customers asking for the drink price. The drink poster doesn’t come with a price tag. Mind you, your drink price is higher than those selling at the mall. Overall, the food and service quality at Alif has gone down from bad to worst too. You are in the food and service industry. Go take some service courses before calling yourself fit to be in the industry. Otherwise, pack your bag and go! Don’t tarnish the industry’s good name. People don’t come to your stall for free meals. They paid with their hard earned money. I’m sure you can treat your customers better with respect!
M	Mingli Lin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad for this price and quality. Usually we have the murtabak. For $7 it can feed 2-3 people. Comes with the curry sauce too. Fish curry sauce is a bit sourish but the veggie curry is nice and smooth. Not too spicy. The beef or mutton murtabak are nice. Both flavorful. Usually this place can be crowded during meal times so go earlier or later if you want to takeaway. Staff are pretty friendly and efficient.
S	Simon Y on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to regularly come here for my prata & mee goreng fix. Especially enjoy their cheese prata as they uses shredded mozzarella instead of those pre-packed slice. Like most of their regulars, the food here used to be consistently good that you were willing to put up with their not so on par customer service, until they are no longer good enough that you are still willing to bare with it. Hadn't came here for years but pass by them today to surprisingly find ample seats despite peak hour and limited capacity. So decided to patronize them & order their cheese egg prata which is still above average, but the hack care attitude was probably why all the cheese was lumped into one corner of the prata, 3 qtr of it are just egg prata. This really reminded me why I had stopped coming here in the 1st place.
