This is not my first time ordering from this restaurant! I ordered almost same menu. Same food. But this time im very disappointed!! Olio too little, like half of spaghetti missing. prawn 2 pcs. Mash potato used to be full all those containers. No crab meat were I paid extra all those 3 containers mash potato! Updated: See the record of my previous orders. And check your receipt properly. If u did investigate then u did investigate wrongly! Correction! Is not FLOSS IS A CRAB MEAT! U ANYHOW REPLY

Nothing beats a freshly baked naan and some masala chicken for a late night snack! Nice place for dinner and supper...

Like the Ox Tail Soup here which is definitely value for money. Place is usually not overly crowded that I'd have to queue. Menu is wide with options from Western to Thai and Indian. This place gives it's bigger-sized competitor along the road a run for its money.

LOL over the years it has gone from good to worst. Judge the food yourself. I ordered Aglio Olio and the pasta itself is in pepper broth LOL. What a joke. Might as well close down. Go and learn from others how to cook a proper aglio olio before serving pasta. The only thing that is worth my money is their beverage. If I can give zero stars I will.

Have known the owner for years since their Clementi Rd days. Great service at a popular supper spot, opens till late even during the pandemic, and affordable prices across a wide range of cuisines (Indian, Thai, Western, etc). Definitely recommend for a quick supper eat.

Aloo Gobi (SGD $6) @ Al-Ameen Eating House. . While they once had several outlets, they've lost out to competitors over the years. Now, only the main stall remains. . Still, it's nostalgic for me here, recalling after school meals with friends. The food remains good, and the portions hearty. . Their rendition of this dish has a generous portion of crunchy cauliflower and tender potatoes, with the curry paste coating the ingredients well, having mild vegetal earthy sweet spice flavour. . . . Bhindi Masala (SGD $6) @ Al-Ameen Eating House. . The rich thick curry gravy has mild vegetal sweet savoury spice flavour, with a distinct hint of the chunky juicy tomatoes within. . The okra retains a pleasant tender crunch, picking up the flavours of the curry well. Best paired with rice or bread. . The low calories make it suitable for diets, including vegetarians and vegans. . . . Biryani (SGD $8) @ Al-Ameen Eating House. . Ate this periodically back when I was still in school. . Still as yummy as ever, with the loose fluffy basmati rice infused with a decent blend of spices, fragrant with savoury grainy sweet spice flavour. . The bouncy hard boiled egg lends eggy sweet notes, while creamy raita with chunks of crunchy cucumber and carrot in the thick yoghurt helps alleviate with milky sweet vegetal flavour. . Served with a side of chicken curry gravy, bold with savoury spicy notes. Don't really need it as the rice is sufficiently tasty on its own. . . . Butter Chicken (SGD $8) @ Al-Ameen Eating House. . The blend of tomato puree, butter, yoghurt, and spices, create a rich and luscious smooth feel to the thick curry gravy. Addictively delicious with enticing milky sweet savoury spice notes. . The generous boneless marinated chicken chunks have a gentle tender chew, picking up the flavours of the delicious gravy, yum. . Great when paired with bread or rice. . . . Chapati (SGD $1.80) @ Al-Ameen Eating House / Ameen Makan House. . Rolled with whole wheat flour, then baked on a skillet. . While texture of the chapati is slightly fimer than elsewhere, flavour is delicately grainy savoury sweet. . Being thin, it's meant to be used for scooping up ingredients (instead of absorbing curries). . . . Chicken Tikka (SGD $8) @ Ameen Makan House. . Meaty, juicy, and smoky, their rendition is succulent and satisfying. . The large tandoor roasted boneless chicken chunks have robust meaty savoury sweet spice flavour, yum. . Good enough on its own, even without the mint dipping sauce on the side.

We ordered the mix chicken platter, garlic and kashmiri naan and palak paneer (spinach with cottage cheese). Chicken was good moist and not dry out but lacks a bit of seasoning. The palak paneer is lukewarm when served and naan is chewy and I think it is not the right texture. Restaurant is clean and served fast as well. Overall average for the price. Portion is a bit big for me.
