β β β β β Served by Rebecca at Amika today !
She is very friendly and open to share more knowledge on hair styling techniques also on how to manage our hair day to day.
Really appreciate to have such hair professionals to guide me through in a short span of 20 mins here.
Surely will look for her again if I need any help to manage my hair in the near future !

β β β β β I bought a hairstyling set from the Amika Wisma outlet. The staff Rebecca was extremely helpful and spent over an hour explaining the product to me. She was very knowledgeable and gave me many styling tips. I appreciate the good service and follow-up after the purchase as well.

β β β β β I would like to give this Amika hair products shop. 0 stars due to their poor ethics, professionalism and dirty sales tactics. Be careful of this shop. Take note that I did not step into the shop. On 8th of July, while I was at Wisma Atria, I was approached and stopped by Jacob, who claimed that my hair quality is very poor and the hair cuticles are coming off due to my very dry hair and the dying that I've done on that day. I was very reluctant. I didn't want to entertain him initially and told him I was rushing off to meet my friend many times. Despite this, he still chased and dragged me to come into the salon so that he can fix my hair. After dragging me to the hair shop, he then began to hardsell and brag himself as one the best in the hair care industry and worked for Toni and Guy for 14 years in which, he admitted that he is 28 years old later on. When he was examining and analysing my hair, he claimed that my hair loss was one of the worst that he has seen among his clients and that without professional and proper hair treatment, my hair loss would be even worse and get drier. He even compared my hair loss to a 40 year old woman. This made me very worried. He pressurised and insisted me to purchase the Lifesaver treatment mask and the hair spray even though I have told him that I couldn't afford. However, he still pressurised and insisted me to purchase the products since they were cost efficient in the long run. I was unwilling and reluctant to purchase these products since they were very expensive for students like me. I've spent $159 on the Lifesaver treatment mask and this amount leaves a huge dent on my wallet. I left the shop unhappy and disappointed. The staff is very unethical and pushy, especially Jacob. They were indeed hardselling products to people especially to students. Beware of their unethical sales tactics. Beware of Jacob. Jacob is a very cunning, manipulative, unethical and pushy person with no morals

β β β β β My daughter and her friends were walking past the shop on 1 Sep 2021 around 5.20pm. They were rudely interrupted by a rude male salesman who asked if they wanted a "free" hair treatment by a "professional". They rejected by walking past but the RUDE salesman retorted by saying "you want to continue going to your neighbourhood salon, fine go ahead." They were appalled and shocked by his rude words and behaviour. Firstly, why is he looking down on neighbourhood salons? I have had the some of the best salon experiences from these neighbourhood stores. I'm pretty sure neighbourhood salons can give a MUCH better service than your so-called professional shop. Secondly, this is not the way you react when you get rejected by passing customers. This is one of the worst sales pitch I've ever heard of. I would give a zero star review if I could. Please improve on your employees' attitudes or you will continue to not get sales!!!!
