Home made flaky indian roti prata. And light fluffy nasi biranyni served with either Chicken or Mutton rendang & crispy papadum. Cooking standard has always been high. Prices are reasonable. Their nasi are sold out everyday.

Morning prata place for a perfect breakfast. They use less oil and make it crispy to perfection. They are also well-known for their biryani later in the day. No wonder there is always a queue of people at the stall. The go to place for all Geylang East residents for a morning prata fix.

Hawker food centre is undoubtedly Singapore’s Gem. This stall is just one of the many many cases in point. The prata is crispy yet soft, chewy and savoury, and coupled with fish curry sauce, it just attracts me to go back when I have prata crave. The mutton Murtabak is probably the best I have eaten with generous filling of mutton and onion. I have not tried the briyani which I will do the next time. And not forgetting to mention, the friendly stallholders who crack jokes with regular customers. **update** finally had their briyani. It is probably one of the best I have had. I wanted the fried chicken briyani but it was sold out at noon. So I had the mutton one (in picture) instead. The mutton is tender and curry is rich. The briyani rice is cooked just right. For $5.50, I feel it’s a bargain as it probably took them years to master this to this level.

Went on a Saturday around 11am, already a queue of 5+ people. We tried the egg, onion and also plain pratas with chicken and mutton curries. Very high turnover so u get deicious prata fresh off the pan and the curries were outstanding especially the mutton curry. Every other person was getting the chicken biryani so we also tar powed the biryani for dinner. Boss and cook were friendly and the food is definitely worth the queueing. They sell out by around 2pm. Highly recommend this stall.
