โ โ โ โ โ There is only 1 pathetic female staff manning a long queue of crowd at the cashier counter, taking orders, collecting payments and assigning/bringing customers to the table. It doesn't help that she is also very slow. The rest of the staffs and manager are either walking around, chatting and idling behind the beverage counter. It's very frustrating. There should be an extra staff helping to take the orders at the cashier during peak hours. Food is good and value for money but the staffs really need to be more efficient!

โ โ โ โ โ Located in SAFRA Toa Payoh.
Astons is the only other entity together with Superbowl bowling centre and Mcdonalds that have survived from day one it opened.
The premises is much bigger, compared to most other Astons restaurants and can seat at least 50.
Dishes here are of same standard as other Astons branches.
But somehow, they run out of FRIES on MONDAYS a lot of times.
Staff explained to me that their fries supply sell out over weekends and they are unable to get replenishment by Monday mornings.
Do take note of this and prepare to have other sides if you are coming on mondays!

โ โ โ โ โ They are short handed and staff stretched to the max but they still open up the entire place. End result is they have to rush like mad compromising customer service and food. I been to this outlet many times, all I can say is they are on a slippery road down in terms of service.

โ โ โ โ โ Had chargrilled chicken and 2 sides for lunch and it was an enjoyable meal. Chicken was tender and juicy while the baked potato was done right. Quiet place during weekdays for some me-time. No service charge and SAFRA members get 10% off.

โ โ โ โ โ The latte which looks like long kept lemon tea. And the char grill chicken, is over burnt chicken. The standard really drop a lot. Beside the steak and fish. Please to order the char grilled here.

โ โ โ โ โ The queue is really long at dinner time because there's only one service staff taking order before you can get seated. The ribeye was overcooked and dry and some parts were fully burnt. Their sides were at least edible. Astons used to be known for being value for money, but their standard has dropped drastically. Not an exaggeration that I've had steak at coffee shops nicer than this, and a third of Astons price.

โ โ โ โ โ Always love Astonโs for their affordable prices n good food. Will always order the steak with a glass of red wine. Now that it has become a halal establishment, no more alcohol is served. Nevertheless, the food is still great at that price.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried this outlet yesterday. It was almost empty during lunch time, very spacious.
The service staff who took our orders at the cashier had quite an attitude. She seemed irritated/ annoyed and was rude towards my friends even when they were very polite towards her. She was impatient and got angry at one of my friends when he did not understand what she was saying (none of us could because she was not pronouncing the words properly/speaking up). She displayed an attitude when my friend went directly to select his choice of sides when he was ordering the double up chicken as did not know that he was allowed to choose the chicken. Oh btw there wasnt anyone behind us. This conduct is extremely turned off and uncalled for. As much as we try to understand why she is behaving this way, it is unfair for us customers to have to deal with her personal problems.
The food was affordable and tasted not bad. Chicken was tender, baked potatoes was not too hard unlike other outlets, quite nice.
The ambience would be very chill if its not for the two different songs playing in the background. One of it was probably playing from the speaker and the other one sounded like it came from the kitchen. Felt a bit uncomfortable.
