Read about this Rojak place at the basement of People's Park Centre. Ang Mo Kio Soon Li Pojak supposedly serves up a hefty amount of Youtiao in the rojak served. Headed there in the afternoon and was almost shocked to find the food court emptied out. Turns out the Food Court to be found is further inside and not the one at the central atrium. Entering the food court, headed over to the stall and made the order. Perhaps it was the mask that caused my order to be muffled, Youtiao Rojak was ordered but was served normal Rojak instead. Decided not to kick up a fuss with the old uncle and tried the normal Rojak instead. The taste was nothing fantastic and the Youtiao was not as much as the 8 Days article claimed. Sigh. The Rojak is acceptable but definitely not worth a specific visit for it.
