24 hrs Kway Chap ?? Quality and the soup base has a good strong herbal taste ?? A great comfort food in the middle of a rainy night that would definitely warms the cockles of your hearts ❤️❤️??

Had the kway chap set and braised duck for supper. Served by an aunty who was a one woman show and there was a long queue. Thank goodness, the food was delicious, above average. Loved the salted vegetables, duck meat, braised eggs and braised pork. The sauce was extremely flavourful and the chilli elevated the overall taste. However, one star was removed as both the large and small braised intestines were overcooked and tasted strongly of spices.

I joined a group buy to get packer duck rice lunch. Portion is generous, variety of items in a set is sufficient, duck is chewy not hard, rice is not salty. Chilli is so-so, and in summary, it was a good deal and I will come back for more! Yum!!

The duck and Kway is not bad The gravy is decent - trace of herbs but not enough Just the big intestine is very rubbery and not properly clean... I love internal stuff but this one is not properly.clean/treated. Brought in the morning at 8am, so maybe not well braised yet, it was too rubbery. Can eat the duck n stuff, but wouldnt recommend the inside stuff

See I have a theory. If you order a char siew rice, and a roast pork rice, compared to a char siew and roast pork rice, would you get similar amount of each meat even if price is near similar? Thus it is quite normal to be short changed even as you upsize. But in today's case, shortchanged is an understatement. Around the Hong Lim to People’s Park Hawker area, there's like an abundance of very good Braised Duck, Kway Chup stores. First that comes to mind is Lek Kee at People’s Park, though they only come with white rice, no noodles or kway. Also they open at 11am only with a queue waiting, and even as you see them hang like 15 ducks they will finish by 1pm. Next you have the Michelin recommended Ah Heng at Hong Lim, they doesn't open on weekends. Thirdly you have You Kee that became a familiar chain over 2 decades mainly for their cheap and small portions, and umami chilli. Lastly this An Nian that beside this stall, has another outlet at the Hong Lim hawker centre. Today being a Saturday morning, thought I gave this stall a try. Went for the kway chup add duck set, silly me. As said shortchanged is an understatement. It's practically a rip off. Open up my set meats, I got 5 slices of braised duck, and what happened to my kway chup ingredients? On their picture you see braised pork belly, pig skin, tau kwa, but in my takeaway I only got 3 items. Half a braised egg, pig intestines and slices of tau pok. That's it. Then 5 pieces of braised duck. Looking at the duck, broken up skin, mushy looking duck meat, and I realised, why they only hang 4 ducks to begin a long day. The duck is salty, dry and mushy. Obviously leftovers and rebraised. In fact everything is overly salty, Kway broth is salty too and overly oily. Lastly, my worst fear, the intestines are not cleaned properly thus very gamey and you can taste whatever the pig ate and partly decomposed. Same as their other stall, thus probably factory batch produced and delivered to stalls. There's a reason why people queue for good food. Mental note, never waste calories on food not worthy of it. In this case luckily I didn't, only wasted money. I trashed the whole lot. Didn't want to take a chance of getting sick eating dirty intestines.

These food are awesome!!! Give 5 star! I love the thinness of the kway. And the duck rice is flavourful with the gravy. The taste of the soup is very rich with the spice. Salty vegetable is very nice (salty enough) ??

We enjoyed the kway chap but the highlight was the tender braised duck. Not an expert in kwaychap, but heard this is more of herbal type. The perserved mustard leaf was nice too. Surprisingly the place was not at all crowded on sat morning. Serving aunty was very friendly.
