★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you don't see a queue.. you'll probably not stop by to 'investigate' and find this superb rendition of Indonesian nasi padang.. I'll confidently say I prefer this to many established ones around Jalan Sultan - and you even get a hawker centre price for it. I had the Ayam Rendang Set with add on begedil and fried potato with ikan bilis. Super.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High quality nasi padang by Chinese. Begedil is solid, cuttlefish is cooked to perfection. Sayur lodeh gravy is rich and not overwhelming. Sambal Belachan is bombastic! Very satisfying $5 meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anthony Indonesian Crusine is back at Kovan Food center,209 Hougang St 21 after moving out few months ago.It is now at a different stall near the car park behind the Muslim stalls.I believe it started operation today & I had just bought from them. As usual the dishes are very delicious & yummy ??????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ chance upon this stall inside Albert centre hawker centre that served up Indonesian Cai peng. Like all economical rice shop, they have a wide variety dishes to choose from.
Selected the green chili chicken set (SGD$4) from their signboard. The set comes with a huge chicken thigh with generous amount of green chili sauce and a bergedil. The set was quite value for money as the portion was huge. Over here, they served basmati rice instead of the normal jasmine rice. In additional to my set, order another 2 dishes and my meal came up to SGD$5.50.
Food was tasty, the sambal belachan chili was also good. Wide variety of dishes to add on. I would definitely patronise again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Nasi Padang Indonesia style. I'm not sure whether it was close to Indonesia food style or not, but it looks close like Malay + Chinese mix rice style.
I brought their popular curry chicken set at $4.50 with add in extra vegetables. Total cost at $5.20.
The flavor is good, especially the curry, taste not like Chinese nor Malay style, taste quite unique.
Recommended. I will come back again. ?
