First time ever posting a review online however, I felt the need given how shocking the experience was. Truly terrible provider.

VERY SNEAKY. Never go with these insurers. They are extremely sneaky and try to trap you so they can impose exclusions on your plan. They are trying to impose an exclusion on me despite the fact that I have a letter from a specialist saying there is nothing wrong with me. Take your money to a more reputable and trustworthy company.

25/9/2019 - UPDATE - 2 Star Review - Since my negative review of April they have reached out and I have met with them and explained my concerns. They have provided additional information however it still does not resolve my issues, though they will be working to rectify some e.g. improving the claims process. While I appreciate them reaching out it would have been great to receive this information prior to signing up and my position still stands - I will not continue with them when the plan comes to an end. 6/11/2019 - 1 Star Review - Would not recommend - look for another provider - I signed up to a fairly comprehensive and expensive 12 month plan with no deductibles and the service being provided is far from what you would expect. The claims process is very administrative (need to provide the same information multiple times on various documents) and when you need support from customer service the information provided is not consistent. I moved from Cigna Health and regret my decision. I will not continue with April when the plan comes to an end.

Avoid at all cost. Absolutely terrible insurer, I am stuck with them with a premium insurance that I can't get off of at the moment. I bought their plan for peace of mind almost 2 years ago. Unfortunately, they proved over and over that their focus is not about offering you peace of mind, but more about finding ways for them to justify not covering you.

I have had my policy with April for at least 4 years and they have been worth every penny. The app is very easy and simple to use, I just wished they offered their new features earlier! Gaining a second medical opinion through the app helped me get more information on my operation for my wrist earlier this year. The customer service team is very friendly and always explain in detail when you need a bit more information about certain claims and it usually takes a 2-3 days to get reimbursed when not using direct billing. Would recommend

I had April for 2 years, and have been very satisfied by the client service and their app to submit the claims.

Easy to claim through easy claim APP. Excellent customer service for my enquires, always answer promptly and address all concerns. Great insurance for individual and family.

No matter what the claim is, April rejects it. Appeal takes months of time, multiple telephone calls and emailing. To get granted cover turns to a fighting. Seems that Easy Claim App is not workable for at all as the staff request to submit the claim through filling up a paper form. Bought two different plans from April for myself and two daughters. Start looking for better service for future when purchased plan expires
