★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was offered a QBE car insurance quote by a Staff, Gina, claiming that QBE is promoting her new car insurance and is offering 10% off any renewal quote by my regular, reputable car insurance company.
After spending time on clarifications on the quote by QBE and confirming the purchase, I was asked to send my insurance's Renewal letter to her to prove that I had been offered a certain Premium.
Lo and behold, after receiving the letter, Gina told me that QBE could only offer me 10% off the listed premium, not the nett Premium after a Renewal discount of $120.
It was such a scam! Please beware!
