When we first met Lucas, we thought he appeared to be too young to handle our project (resale unit that needs a major overhaul). But after speaking with him, he was a friendly person with really great experience and expertise, we always love his insights and views of the project. He and his team were very patient and work really closely with us throughout the whole journey. What I have to say that I am most surprise is that he was able to help me custom make furnitures from overseas, mainly from Bali. He even bought really lovely handles and knobs for my cabinets. It was a very different experience with Lucas and his team from our past experience with other ID. They actually really do site visits a lot and they pay a lot of attention to details. We are still in contact after 2 years and I have referred many friends to Lucas and his team, I hope he and his company will grow even more as they really deserve the appreciation for their dedication. KUDOS !

Poor professionalism, no updates despite multiple delays, citing COVID. Delays are understandable, but transparency and more frequent communication is minimally expected la. If I wanted to be ghosted I'd get back on Tinder. Chasing them harder than I chased my own girlfriend.

We got to know Lucas in March of 2021 and began works in May 2021. Works were minimal as ours is a condominium with pretty much everything already built in. We expected a very short time needed for completion. But here we are, a year later and Lucas has failed to provide any replies, has MIA-ed, and his staff haven't gotten back to us either. They have been passing our project to different people to handle so we've had to constantly keep updating them about the situation and we've tons of loose ends unaddressed. They have built us a TV feature wall that has a wooden beam running right through the midde of it so that cables aren't able to pass through - defeating the purpose of a feature wall entirely. We still have electricital cables hanging from the ceiling because lights that were bought during the first week that works begun were lost (by the IDs) and they have failed to purchase another and install it since. I would go on about all the other unprofessional errors made but that would be too lost a review. To sum it up, this has been a really terrible and atrociously disappointing experience. If there is a nightmare situation you're looking to avoid for your home renovations, you wanna look elsewhere.

As a small business owner myself, I don't take lightly to leaving negative reviews on other businesses. But seeing how my bad experience was not unique, here's my honest to god review. My wife and I commissioned Lucas and Team to do my reno in the heart of Covid 2020. I get that many IDs were facing manpower issues and perhaps we were too lenient because of that. To their credit, I thought Rachel, the Project Manager was doing her best. But I think she was overwhelmed with work and couldn't devote the time needed for each project. Lucas also handed off the project to her almost from the get-go. There were SO. MANY. ISSUES. My wife compiled a 40 slider ppt full of issues. From tiling, to cabinets, to damaging existing fixtures, the list went on and on. For every issue brought up, they did try to fix it but the resulting workmanship was just really bad. Now, 1 year on, my downstair neighbour started complaining about a leaky ceiling. My reno nightmare has quite literally resurfaced. I had to re-do the entire water piping layout for my place. Yes, you heard that right, re-do the whole damn thing because the contractors they hired did a bad job. I've spent close to $1.5k trying to rectify the issue but it's still not resolved. UPDATE - They have made payment to the waterproofing specialist recommended by HDB. Let's just hope this will be the last of it.

The renovation took more than 6 months to complete. ID explanation for delay was because of COVID, contractor explained the work was sealed because they were not paid on time. The 3D drawing came out wrong even after redoing a few times. Handover work with a number of defects, ID say will rectify but he is missing since before CNY.

Met Lucas in Jan through a referral, but unfortunately he needs to go on personal sick leave for a few months. However, his few designers have been helping me with my works and design style and 3Ds as well. They just handed over my home to me, not the fastest project process to be honest, but it was done well and of very decent quality and value. Get well soon !

We had a pleasant experience working with Archive Interior Design, ID Ian Lucas. He was patient to listen to our requirements and gave us suggestions according to our expectations. He served us professionally with positive attitude throughout the whole project. His teams are very experienced, skillful with good workmanship. We highly recommend!

A friendly and warm team of designers, they works closely with our requirements. They are not money minded and mark up for everything. They help me a lot for furnitures and other appliances in the house. I would recommend them a lot. Thanks to the team who stepped in to help when their boss is on sick leave.
