Very bad experience. Using ABSS Premier Plus and ABSS requires us to perform the Activation & Confirmation (A&C) of our company data file every 90 days. If the confirmation fails, we are required to call customer support. If not, we will not be able to use the company file to enter data and perform our work. There are no prior notification that we will need to perform the Activation & Confirmation soon and the prompt will just appear automatically out of nowhere every 90 days. Once you failed to confirm the data file online or any error happens, the only way to solve it will be to contact support. Best of all, if this happens on a weekend, you can't find any customer support to assist you as their customer support is only available Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm. This is despite the website stating, "Server Error, please contact support". Not every company have the normal business hour of Mon-Fri. This happened to us on a Saturday and the only thing we can do is to wait for their customer support to open on Monday. These have caused great disruption to our business and there are many other ABSS customers frustrated with this issue. ABSS, please improve on your reliability and do something about this. Edited: Following the reply from ABSS, I went to recheck on all the emails from ABSS and do not see a single notification email. The emails I received are mostly marketing emails stating "Upgrade Your ABSS/MYOB with 80% Singapore Government Grant" , "Connect Server Under Maintenance", emails. When I called ABSS while I was facing the confirmation issue, I ask the guy nicely on the phone if there was any possible way not to prompt the confirmation request on a weekend as there is no customer support. He told me to wait on the phone while he checked and the next second he hanged up on me and never ever call back. Neither did my email to ABSS requesting for the confirmation not to be prompted on a weekend received any single reply.

ABSS Payroll does not comply to all MOM requirements (eg cannot show payroll date of payment). And the service helpline is not helpful and just ask us to go settle ourselves. Their advise is to amend the PC date so that the payslip date shows as the payroll date but this is not accepted by MOM. MOM wants to show it as PAYMENT DATE. There is no way to edit the form. Unhelpful even if you pay for support!

Went for a masterclass training last year. Realized that ABSS is a powerful tool. It reduces conventional data entry procedures and allows quick reference to your purchases, Billings, cash flow and inventories. It frees up a lot of labor hours to do more productive activities. The only down side is support comes from their partners. Support is quite limited. Example, our package consist of training as my team does not know how to use ABSS, it wasn’t like what I’ve attended in the masterclass, it’s more of a QnA session for 2hrs and we didn’t get much out of the training session in the end. Probably the trainer thinks we already know how to use it? But we don’t.

The accounting software is very easy to learn and use ,especially for SMEs. Their supports are timely and knowledgeable. We have been using it since 2014 and upgraded few times .

ABSS is quite user friendly and not as restrictive as the previous accounting software that we used. It is also quite affordably price and is ideal for SMI/SME. The response from the support team is timely and helpful. For company with limited ICT resources, responsive support team from ABSS is most certainly a plus point for consideration.

Be very wary when dealing with them. Was promised a rebate when signing up a software package. But after the sale was completed, nothing heard from them despite repeated calls to them on the rebate. Not a trustworthy company, be warmed and don't be scammed by their promotions. Not sure if filing a police report is needed to get them to response.

Terrible company. As mentioned by several other reviewers, once they deem that your authentic software is outdated, they will make it incredibly troublesome and challenging to do the confirmation even though you are a legit user of their product. Even after removing the option for me to do online confirmation and leaving me with only the phone confirmation option (which may or may not work depending on how busy their line is), every 90 days I will also have to personally call in to their office to receive a "Confirmation and activation request" email. After which, I will then be able to proceed with the usual phone confirmation. During the phone call to get the "confirmation and activation request" email, the ABSS person will also try to sell you on their latest version and use the opportunity to get your updated contact details so they can send you a quotation and cold call you time to time. I believe this is why you're forced to call in for this "confirmation and activation request". I don't see why it's necessary at all on top of the usual phone confirmation. Apparently their sales strategy here is to bully/frustrate people into upgrading their software. If I had known that's how they'd treat their users, I would have opted for other accounting system instead.
