★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been a patron of the store at Seah Im ever since I was a young student! The quality of their food has always been the same as I remember in the past! The chicken is still as tender and the sauce has not changed over the years! Price is still really affordable for the quantity you get!

There is a disclaimer on the food board, "All pictures are for illustrations only" lucky they said that, because I was anticipating chicken cutlets, instead I got a chicken wing ?

Crunchy battered chicken quarter that's been conveniently chopped up and smothered in a sweet and spicy sambal sauce and served with chicken rice. The meat was tender and the rice, sufficiently fragrant, but what I loved was the self-serve bucket of crispy battered bits that I piled on high over my rice! A tasty and filling dish at an affordable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Supposed to have a nice fried chicken but was overwhelmed by the sambal... next time will try the original or the penyet. Rice is aromatic chicken rice taste. The crumps was free to scoop as much as you like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been eating here for more than 10 years. Menu changes a few times. Once they had cockle fried rice that gave a huge helping of cockles. My favorite but they dont sell it anymore. Now more focus on chicken rice where its standard chicken rice is $3.50. Bang for buck. Buy mineral water and you have a meal under $5. Well portioned also and you can add free flow fried flour crunchies that is savoury and salty to the chicken rice. The sambal belado is awesome pair with the ayam penyet or smashed chicken. Tried everything on the menu. Delicious overall. Lunch hour usually there’s a queue but since the food is prepared fast, waiting time isn’t so long.
