We wish to thank nurse Nandah, nurse Nadhiya and Dr Teo from the bottom of our heart! They provided such care and attention to my late grandma as part of home nursing care. Their prompt response to our persistent queries and professional care and support was immeasurable. We are particularly grateful to nurse Nandah who made the home trip despite it being a weekend to examine my grandma. She so patiently stayed on to explain to us her condition and provided timely advice for us to take action. Thank you, Assisi!

Thank you Assisi Hospice for the dedication and great quality of care provided. The environment is beautiful, peaceful, clean and spacious. Staff (doctors, nurses, assistants, volunteers, security, and cleaners) are sincere, friendly and attends to patients frequently even without request. The place is also accessible with shuttle bus service from Bishan MRT. Assisi Hospice has proven themselves to be a comfortable place with top notch quality care.

Our late mother was there for 22 days before she passed on recently. A clean and good place with great, caring, compassionate and thoughtful team of doctors, nurses and staffs. We are very thankful and so blessed to have them taking care of our loved one.

Thank you Assisi for your strong support to my Mum during the last leg of her journey. The home nursing team was wonderful, Nurse Nadiyah for her care and helpfulness, kudos to the 24 hour call phone supported by different nurses who were ever ready to assist whenever I call with a problem, send a video or photos. Most of all, I wish to thank Ms Jennifer Guan the on call doctor who offered and then came to my house on 11Jan night to see my Mum in person and offer me advice. She touched my heart with her actions and her dedication to allay my concerns and gently guide me as I grappled with the dilemma of whether I send my Mum for emergency treatment in the hospital. I’m deeply grateful. The path for dying with dignity at home is not easy as we encounter many decisions to make each moment and the heart grows heavier with each passing moment and having to face the signs of death bravely and with a smile so my Mum is not sad nor burdened but it was good for my Mum who didn’t want to pass on in the hospital and for more family and friends to be able to spend time with her. Thank you Assisi for offering such a service to help those who prefer to be in the home environment in their final moments and facilitating the smooth certification of COD at the end so that we can proceed to manage the funeral service on the same day.

My father was well taken care of in his finals days at the hospice. I would like to thank the team at Assisi for providing him with a peaceful and comfortable environment before his passing. I have since made a generous donation to Assisi as well.

We have just made a donation via PayNow on behalf of our late beloved father: - Mr. Joseph Chin Sin Fah (XXXXX459E) And, we would also like to express our gratitude towards all the nurses & doctors from St. Anthony Ward who took care of our father at St Dympha Bed 401. Our father was diagnosed with cancer last September and was transferred from CGH to Assisi Hospice on 30 Mar 2022 under Palliative Care. He was then transferred back home on 19 Apr 2022 to grant his wish and passed on 20 May 2022 last Friday, after 1 month+ of victory against his terminal illness at home. Special thanks to Home care Nurse Joseph Tan Jun Yiu who visited my father regularly. His good home care service, mentorship and often consulted by my brother, Jaden who was the main caregiver had helped a lot.

Assisi Hospice I would like to express my gratitude towards all the nurses & Dr Rina from St Michael ward level 2 who took care of my late uncle from bed 216. My uncle was diagnosed with cancer last September. He was transferred from SGH on 31.3.2022 & passed on 27.4.2022 at the hospice. Special thanks to home care nurse Joseph Tan who visited my uncle regularly & updated me his condition when he was at home before he was transferred to Assisi. Not forgetting the home care team Junnie, Doreen & Nadia. Each time when I called to make enquires & ask for assistance they were very friendly & patient. Last but not least, I would also like to thank Joyce for arranging pastoral care for my uncle. And I would also like to say a “Big Thank You” especially to Angela Tan, Senior Medical Social worker for the support & helped. Angela had constantly update me my uncle’s condition & followed up with calls & WhatsApp messages. She also helped my uncle to arrange for home leave as initially my uncle had requested to pass on at home. However after he was transferred to Assisi hospice. He finds comfort there & decided to pass on at the hospice. Angela had shared with me about home leave. Patients are allowed to go home for a few hours to max 3 days. This was just open up on 4.4.2022 due to COVID19 it was not allowed for 2 years. Thankfully my uncle managed to do so for a few hours. At least he could go back home to see his house for the last time. Angela had helped to arrange the ambulance & oxygen cylinder for my uncle too. Overall I am very grateful & thankful for the support that Assisi Hospice had provided & their great help was much appreciated!! Once again, THANK YOU !!! ??
