Always support this store but some of their staff really have very bad customer service. Omelette per serving at $1.50, reduced portion but with increased price. Store didnt update menu pricing and rude response was given. Portion and pricing always differ when served by different staff.

Saw other reviews that the rice is nice so went to buy. Was taken aback when paid $11.50 for 2 nasi lemak with simple side dishes. Chilli and chicken was not bad, but nothing to shout for. Rice is too moist and no coconut fragrance. Not worth the price.

Read about this place and made it a point to go there one of the weekends. Took a nice walk along geylang road and noticed a queue at the shop even before it is open for business. (Open at 17:30). Food was ok to me - nothing to shout about. Prob i was too hyped up based on reviews read. Or it is my tastebuds which prefer malay-ish nasi lemak. Nevertheless, still a place worthy of trying as it is something different from typical nasi lemak with variety of dishes to choose from. Be prepared to queue.

This place that serves Nasi Lemak is located at Geylang lor 15. I chance upon this place while having dinner around this vicinity a few weeks ago and wanted to give this place a try. There was a queue when I was there for dinner.Perhaps due to shortage of manpower, the queue was moving slow. Dishes selection was quite limited as compared to other popular nasi lemak place like Punngol or chong pang. Apparently, they have been around for some time. They are famous for their signature kicap manis fried chicken. I selected their curry vegetable, sunnyside up egg, signature fried chicken as well as the peanut and fried anchovies. The meal cost me SGD$6, a bit pricy as compared to others. Chicken wing still remains crispy even though it was coated with kicap manis. Rice was fluffy and fragrant, but portion was a little small. Curry vegetable was decent. The sambal was on the sweeter side but was good enough.

This is my First attempt and MY LAST Time buying food from here (bad luck for me i guess) Heard the rice was fragrant previously, so I give it a try made a point go there buy my dinner today evening. i decided not to choose those heavy - fried food due to heaty weather recently, no que when i bought it but was shocked when i was told to paid "$6" for this pack of rice with (fried egg), (cabbage with vermicelli) & (wing bean mix petai) reach home - open up the rice box start chewed 2 mouthful; i got another shocked seeing this insect in my food (hopefully it's not a fly) i totally lost my appetite; i took these photos down then packed it & throw away Hopefully nothing happen to my stomach within this 2days..

Ordered chicken thigh, sotong balls, long beans and fried egg. $8.00. Teh-c $1.50. Chicken was ok. Chilli on the sweet side. Rice was moist and a little cold. The rest were normal. Service was below par. No fork and spoon ready. Being pushed between 2 staff for cutlery. I had to wait for staff to collect back and wash before going me. ??

Ever since a friend told me that @ilovebalisg’s Chinese-style Nasi Lemak being a favourite of her family’s, I have been wanting to visit. Finally found the opportunity to drop by the other day right after their opening time of 5.30pm. We were the first few to place our order but in mere moments, a queue formed right behind us. I found the rice here very fragrant, light and fluffy, and without a trace of oiliness. It went very well with the sweet-savoury sambal which you can still spot onions in. The highlight for me was the petai and wing bean dish. Stirfried quickly in a savoury “hae bee hiam”, both vegetables retained a fresh crunch which I adore. Of the two options for chicken wings, I preferred the one coated in black sauce - it’s deepfried before being tossed in the sweet “kicap manis” so there is a bit of crunch when you sink your teeth into it. If you are a fan of the “keropok hard crunch” style of batter, then go for the golden-brown fried wings. Eggs were cooked on point with a semi-runny yolk, and the grilled Otah was thick, aromatic and spicy - worth getting both of these as well. I did miss my sliced cucumber though. It’s a vital part of my Nasi Lemak experience but unfortunately, they didn’t have it that evening.
