Shi Hao Hotpot BBQ

Used eatigo promotions. It’s worth after the discount. Food was average but with good range of seafood. Service was good by the young man. The place is kinda small.

We saw the poster outside this shop written korea bbq , but realised it wasn’t when we get in. It’s a China hotpot and Bbq. They do not have any Korea alcohol, only have China or Taiwan beers. Overall still satisfied, staff are friendly, joke around. Food still okay, the ginseng soup (I forgot what’s that soup) taste nice! Mala... no taste.lol 麻辣香锅not really good.

Staff was rude and and food quality is poor with the price they are charging. I was asked to leave when I was still eating because there was a family waiting outside? There were people who came in way before me but I was asked to leave because I was eating alone and they had no seats? Am I not a paying customer? Ridiculous staff kept hovering around my table and wanting to lower down the heat of the hotpot and the bbq tray which lead to my food taking so damn long to cook. Then they said I’ve been eating there too long, I was barely there for 30mins and 3/4 of the time waiting for the food to be cooked cause the dumb staff kept lowering the heat of the hotpot and grill. If no money to pay for the electricity please don’t open a restaurant. Thumbs down for this place. Rude staff, lousy food, high price and oh if you and 1-2 friends are eating and there is a large family waiting they will ask you to leave. Never going back there again ??????

This place is a scam! There was an item - open food charged for my visit. I ask the staff what is it, he said it’s the soup base which was not indicated in the price poster outside. Before entering, I also asked the same staff how much is the buffet and he only mentioned 29.9sgd with service charge. That 10 sgd just came out from nowhere. Blacklisted for not being honest! Second the seat was very uncomfortable. All the chairs are without back support and the you cannot put the legs in between the table. You have to either opened wide or sit by the side and eat the food which was 90 degrees from you. Food wise, it’s not attractive at all. The calms are frozen and still with the frozen ice. Do they expect you to cook the frozen ice? And not many food choices. We were allowed to go inside the food selection area to pick the food ourselves, I think it’s very unhygienic and no sense of how the virus being spread. Not to mentioned the fire was very weak even it’s the maximum already. My bbq meat took 30 mins to be cooked properly. The restaurant next door which sells the same thing is so much better than this one. I regretted waste my stomach space to try their food. Should have stick with the regular one.

Food is not bad (especially the collagen soup and the prawns) it’s a cozy place too, have been here a few times. Staff is friendly and helpful but will not bother you which I like. Recommended!

Good Spread, good service Nice soup Base, reasonable price Place is small with limited seats. Better to book in advance. BBQ plate is slow due to the temperature. Missed the last dish: Malai, likely to make another visit ?

Friendly environment, the workers are nice n always chat with us. I like their black pepper meat, the shabu beef, lamb and pork is good too. Love their mala soup here.. taste like YGF malatang too.. seafood was good too. If they have crab, that will be better!??

Food is good. Price is slightly high, but acceptable. Soup taste good. The meats are reasonable, but not as tender as those we find in Korean bbq restaurants.
