Ban Soon Bicycle Shop - 11 Upper Boon Keng Rd

NOT A COMPLAINT BUT If you own a high end bicycle, please avoid this shop. Just go to a shop that can fix high end bicycle. The uncle really go and freaking use a screw driver to try to poke my carbon wheel frame. He broke my rubber Tyre that cost around $50. Luckily i stopped him before he tear down my whole carbon wheelset. Didnt ask for compensation coz i feel they dont earn much. OH ya, and they shouted at me say i lie to them ?

Went with an elderly friend to help her buy a bicycle and was absolutely surprised by the staff’s disrespectfulness to my elderly friend. Can’t possibly support such a business.

Requested him to check the part of brake broken. He said replace the whole disc even without looking at the problem.

The uncle is very rude & impatient.didn’t admit his mistake.I went there to tune the brakes as making squeaking sound for both front & back when I brake it.it was originally setup by seller like that.about one weeks I couldn’t bare the sound as many people kept looking at me for loud sound.uncle told me that the sound might still have a bit.he said that $20 for both front& back. I asked him, is it possible to check the bolts & nuts are tighten properly .then I saw him dismantle the front handle bar,so I’m shocked,I just talked to uncle that the brake only make noise when I pressed it.he shouted me rudely ‘wait ,I will do it one by one, now I am checking it for u’ . So I step back .but after he done with everything , the brake sound is obviously reduce & the bike is a little bit lighter as he said,he put oil and checked. I was so happy , I went back home. On my way back home the road are bumpy , so I noticed the handle bar starting to shake.it is so dangerous.he didn’t close it in correct way.I also tried to close it but I can close it,no matter how I tried.I was so worried,even thinking to take taxi to go back to the shop.I was about 2.4km away.I tighten the loose screw by hand and ride back to his shop.i was so worried on the way,the handle was shaking.i was so helpless . But when I reached his shop, I just told him that uncle this one didn’t close it properly,needed it to close it.it’s very dangerous. Uncle started to screamed @ me.& asked me to go away.he said that it was originally like that.I am riding that bike about 1 week plus,that screw surly will dropped out & I will fall down.I even ride to 10km for past few days.I also always locked my bike helmet there.so it is so noticeable for me everyday to see it.it for as closing half way or not . Uncle turn the screw other way round & tried to close it .that is why it couldn’t close it all the way. Half way then stuck.so the screw is not locked , when I ride it, it was shaking ????. Really bad experience.I thought that uncle might be rude but very kind heart, in the end he even didn’t care about safety.if didn’t close it properly,then I fall down on the road ???. He chased me away like beggar.he earned $20 less than 10 min job & I didn’t even bargain,???

The worst ever attitude bicycle shop in my whole life. Want to buy a new pedal and told me to install myself. Went there 2nd time with my bicycle to replace a crank set. Told me that they don’t change if bicycle not bought from them, - I left this place disappointed and never go back there anymore.

I don't advise coming to this shop. Asked the person to maintain my bike and the only thing he did was tighten my brakes. He didn't oil my gears and charged me $80. Now my gears are rusted.

Went to change my both tyre at this shop and the shop owner didn't pump sufficient air, went back and asked for help to pump more but was being criticized of not knowing the tyre mechanism, and was being sacarstic mentioning that rubber should not be hard. Went back to my own place realizing the PSI he pumped was only 20 but the required air should be 80. First and last time will be patronizing.

Honest small business operation. Uncle helped to recycle all the accessories on my old bike and transferred them to the new bike I bought from them. Explained gear system patiently and was very friendly. Will continue to support this place!
