★ ★ ★ ★ ★ hv been here for many years but observed the flavour is not as good as previously and the size of dish also shrinks, BBQ scallop is definitely not fresh but the shell is too over used.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The skewers are really nice and affordable. The leek is very good as well. The place is not very accessible and we have to take a bus from clementi mrt station. It is located on the third floor of an office building and the whole vibe just feels very china. However, they did not turn on the aircon, just fan. We went in the afternoon and maybe in the evening they would on aircon. Vibe will feel nicer at night i think.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fave to-go skewer place. Price is affordable and food is good (but sometimes a bit too flavourful).
I always order the 家常凉菜, 皮蛋豆腐, and their skewers (the mutton skewers here are rly good, they don’t have a very strong off-putting mutton taste). Tried the 炸酱面 this round and felt it wasn’t really something I would order. The noodle texture was good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the best 东北 food in Singapore for the inexpensive price. The 酸菜炒粉 is a must try. $60 for all the food in the pictures, plus a bottle of beer. Alfresco dining at Szechar prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden Jem in the west, good price for the BBQ stick, authentic taste, one star less for the spicy chicken cause it’s not up to my expectation and location, went back second time only for the BBQ stick and beer.. worth going to of nearby..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for dinner and had an enjoyable time at this place. Large menu of different dishes and BBQ items to choose from. Food were well prepared and flavorful. Service was fast, waiting time was short and serving size was just enough for two persons. Their pricing wise, was quite affordable too. Will be back for more.

Food are on the oily side but nothing to complain about. Quite tasty.
Must try
1) the fried chicken with peanuts and chilli, very good with beer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is inconvenient to get to but you get great tasting food here! Definitely should drop by if you like Chinese cuisine at an affordable price range. The pig trotters are awesome! Roasted lamb leg needs to be ordered a day in advance.
