★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tunnel/walkway leading to the MRT control station is very stuffy and has poor air circulation. The control station is slightly cooler due to the wall fans, but still considered quite hot and stuffy on most days. The train platform is has much better air circulation due to the open-air design and the large ceiling fans.
The station has several elevators, each connecting to a different part of the area (train platform, control station, Bedok Mall exterior and the bus stop/station entrance opposite Bedok Mall.
Do take note that if you choose to use the restrooms in the control station, be prepared to brave through the stench.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, functional but old MRT station. It seems that during peak hours, the station sometimes struggles to cope up with the throngs of people entering or exiting it. Very long queues form at the top-up machines and the lifts are often packed to the brim. At least the station is relatively clean and has large fans at the train platform (it does help to alleviate the heat)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite outdated in terms of design and facilities but it does serve its job. Easily accessible from Bedok Mall too as the MRT station is right beside the Mall, making it more convenient. It is being updated though with new escalators being installed though bit more can be improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3+ level mall in the east of Singapore. Easy access from the train station. Walk down across and up from the station exit. Lots of food and retail shops. Also some outdoor traditional hawker stalls next door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A busy station surrounded by various amenities, such as a shopping mall, hawker centre, town square, and others. Airy design makes it well ventilated, which is a strong point in Singapore's hot weather.
