★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought one e-scooter for an elderly who stayed at old 3-room flat. The battery was not functioning after one year. The sales person says they will do a free maintaiance check and told me that the battery need to be replaced. I paid $240 for the battery. When the elderly received the scooter with the new battery, he found that the tyres are damaged and the front plate dropping. I called them and they claimed it was already spoilt when they received it. This is unacceptable, they have to reveal this while doing the checking and maintaining the equipment. NOT after the owner told them there is a problem with the tyre. I suspect this is a case of bullying elderly who are less privileged so that they can then charge extra fees for the parts which they claimed is due to wear and tear after using for one year. It seems that all parts need to be changed after one year. I strongly urge customers to avoid buying from this company due to their sales tactics to boost revenue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Similar to Emily, I liaised with technician Kobe Chen (via WhatsApp) to bring down my Bion iLight (code: 02317) (red colour) wheelchair (purchased Sept 2018) to 35 Pioneer Road North, although he was not the one who provided the 45-minute servicing (his colleague did). You can get Kobe's number through calling the staff at Bion's showroom number at Ang Mo Kio. It is $40 per tyre replacement, with $35 workmanship, and $5 per brake pad replacement. So i changed both tyres and brake pads for a total of $125. Can pay via PayNow or Cash only. 35 Pioneer Road North is called PCI Building. Pls make an appointment before going down on weekdays only from 10am-5pm and avoid lunch hr 1230pm to 130pm. There is free visitor parking (white lots) after you turn into PCI Building, go straight and then turn left (along the side of the Building). Go through the small opening that shows the toilet sign and ask for directions to the Cargo Lift to take to 2nd floor and you will see Bion already. Overall a pleasant experience. Thanks, Bion!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took Bion manual wheelchair to service centre at Pioneer Road and said that the wheelchair wobbles when moving at faster pace. The reply was slow down the pushing. Suspect frame alignment is an issue. But was told my 3.5 month old wheelchair which was under warranty has been “used” and cannot expect it to be like new. Bion replaced the 2 front wheels joint support with hesitation only bcos technicians could feel the vibration, first on one side, then the other when the problem was not fully resolved. Please make your own assessment on the worthiness of this product/brand and appreciate the limitations of this wheelchair when purchasing.
