These people are doing a great job. We can volunteer to help people with special needs.

Went there 2 times in the past for different purpose. First time was more of interacting in house with a huge group and the other was to bring the elderly out to a certain event. Photos in some areas is not allowed so I will not show any photos myself. Place is quite clean with elderlies which may be mentally disabled or something else. You could see that in there. The place seems to be taken care by foreign workers. They sleep on movable beds. Quite clean over there. There are in fact a huge number of people donating money into this place as shown near the office. Some elderlies at there have weird behaviours but most looks happy when I went there. They looks happy but we couldn't communicate with them effectively so we don't really know what they are feeling Don't go to this place if you can't respect or tolerate weird behaviours in people. There are a huge range behaviours there actually. Will not give any examples. I can recall one of my friends cried after seeing them. It was quite emotional for some but many of us still managed to cope with it. All in all, it seems that the people there is well taken of and throughout the year, they have different groups of people coming to engage them in activities. Quite a good initiative by the place. It was a very good exposure for us also.

If possible, we would give Blue Cross Thong Kheng Home a minus star or less. Everyday without fail, during daytime & evening time there will be 2 same people who will be on "rotating shifts" to shout loudly above their throats or lungs. Yet, the staffs there did nothing to appease these 2 persons. Moreover, this building is just beside us & yet no one had the initiative to make a complaint against them except for ourselves who made a police report. People like 'Harold Ng' who said that "Don't go to this place if you can't respect or tolerate weird behaviors in people." who are not staying near this building can say whatever they want. They try to live near this building to experience the shoutings themselves. Hope that the relevant parties can deal with the unnecessary shoutings as we the residents also deserve the rights to rest peacefully in our homes during weekends or holidays without any disturbance.
