A lot of international students and exchange students.
There are two canteen. Both have great and authentic Chinese food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be the newest student accomodation in NUS. Now replace by U-Town. Still consider worth the money, with great transport option in MRT and buses. Accessibility to Haw Par Villa, Chinatown and Orchard via 143, Vivocity and Sentosa via 100. Ample sport amenities - three basketball courts, two tennis courts, and a gym.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean rooms, did not get an AC unit, but the ceiling fan worked great. The washrooms were not very clean. UTown would be a much better choice since it is a newer building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since it is old, it is expected that there're quite some hardware failure here. But the management team does spend effort in fixing them. Facilities are rather complete, with gym, lounges, basketball courts, playgrounds, foutains, wifi at the Foyer, bumbox stations, convenient store, food courts. All are good, just expected that hostel in NUS could be a little better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad place to live. All the residents are involved in their own lives and it feels very isolating and bland to stay here. Bathrooms are pretty dirty and many of the rooms lack AC which is a must with Singapore's heat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staffs in management are generally quite unfriendly and very firm with their rules. They generally wont entertain any request on room changing etc. The toilet design makes it looks dirty despite multiple cleaning/day. The residence is quite overcrowded too.
However, good things is that there is many facilities like mini market, 2 canteen, supper, sports etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is so convenient! I am an exchange student and use this to receive all of my packages. They even gave me a super aweosme free gift (unannounced) after my second order - such a jive surprise! Also, NUS students get their first 2 deliveries free, so just lookup “NUS Discount Bluport” and you should find the code.
