A small boat rustic place with good kampong feeling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once a amazing place for local fishermen to park their boat at low costs. My dad had a boat here when I was growing up in the 1990s and we spent years playing along around his sampan boat. The government decided to reduce the number of boat in probably the worst way possible.
Random quotas were set, sorted by age of owners, older folks get to keep their lots. My dad was early 50s and lost his parking for over 10yrs to another person who parked on another side of the beach.
Friendships were destroyed, the community had to betray each other to keep their precious boat parking. The community became a quarter of what it used to be. And lesser over time and the fisherman culture was lost.
