Bought their butter cake ate it the day itself n turns out to be stale. Ended up seeing a doc because of it. Beware of the cakes they display it outdoor as it has been there for few days! They do not check their food quality at all. Not even worth a star at all if given a choice!! Buy n eat at your own risk!!

Got 6 char siew baked buns and they all smelled like rubbish dump as what my 10 yo said. All has turned bad basically and they are 1.30 each.. First time buying since I am not staying in angmokio and totally disappointed at their quality, the baked buns were soft not the usual we get from other places and the inside really smelled bad. I doubt they keep track when these baked buns are made and how long they are kept in that little box. NEA should really look into such shops that the food are spoilt and yet still selling to customers. Ifro. Chicken paos tasted stale and has a weird smell, all 6 of them. We suspect they have been left out for some time!

Decided to give my input, after seeing the reviews here. I have been patronizing this place for the past 2 wks. Abt 4-5 times. What attracted me was the size and the ‘fullness’ of the buns. They are not small or ‘airy’ like many other neighborhood bread shops. 1.30-1.50 each, 3.30 for 3buns. The issue then, is possibly the lifespan of the bun. I bought these 6 yday for evening tea and breakfast this morn. The tuna bread and the banana walnut started to turn a tiny bit sour this morn. No problem with the polo bun mushroom veg bun or even the ham and cheese. I can only assume they didn’t use preservatives. During one of my past purchase, the cashier lady was kind enough to advise me to keep the ham and egg bun In fridge and reheat if I’m not consuming on day of purchase. Hope this gives a balance perspective of their offerings. These buns are great fillers on the go when taken within the day of purchase.
