Staff was extremely rude. Was helping ourselves to hot ones fresh from the oven but tubby male staff came and brashly commented β€˜Aiya all the same one ok pls’ Excuse me, we come almost everyday, we can tell if your Parmesan cheese has obviously been sitting there for a while and is paler in colour than the norm. I would like to say go fix your QC, but first fix that unacceptable service attitude. You do not talk to customers like that. Would not be coming back.

Mix of tenant is quite boring. They have posb and ocbc and bank of china which make the place convenient. A lot of new eateries. Too many spas and slimming centres or salons which makes the place quite boring. But there's challenger, popular and secret chamber which at least makes the place interesting. Newly renovated golden village is also nice.

Iconic mall that is newly refurbished with a new wing, giving it a new breath of life. Many selection of food outlets here with a cinema, served directly by an MRT station.

Went in to Breadtalk Tiong Bahru branch to buy some breads , as I was carrying some bags and putting the breads on their tray; i accidentally dropped the plastic tong on the floor. It's not convenient for me to bend down and pick it up, besides, I am sure there will be staffs that working in the shop may help me with this, which this happens every shops or restaurants that I go. Instead, the Chinese cashier JiJa ( if I can remember her name correctly) she command me to pick up to tong rudely in the public! She even refused to serve me by cashing the items that i wish to purchase. Well, I can try to do so, but I do not think it is right to command customer with this manner to pick up the item, and i think the staff should help the customer instead, as this is a basic customer service. She even commended me in the public that I have no quality and I have no characteristic !! So is it my responsibility to help the staff to pick up their Tong from the floor ? and is it right to humiliate the customer this way in the public ???

Your typical bread joint in Singapore. They are fast and quick to service like all the other places. I would recommend avoiding this place in the morning as the queue can be long.

The cashier at Tiong Bahru today was extremely rude to me. As I made my order I changed my order from a latte to a chocolate latte in a courteous way, well before she had even started preparing my order, and she said "Make up your mind lady, once I make it you cannot change" - as if I didn't already know this through common sense. I was shocked at how this older woman cashier would have the nerve to talk to customers this way and told her she was very rude and not to talk to loyal customers this way. There are other ways of communicating without power tripping on a customer in such a rude tone. She shouldn't be customer facing. When I asked a nearby female staff member to talk with the manager, that member of staff just made a miserable expression and shook her head. It was only then the cashier apologised to me. Get your customer service act together!
