Taste wise isn't too bad but prepare to pay a heft price. All dishes doesn't come with fries

Great place for a meal in town, especially if you’re catching a concert at Capitol or craving for hotdogs and burgers around the area. Reasonable pricing considering the location, nice decor, good food with great service. Will be back for more!

Parking is plenty at capitol piazza at just $3 per entry after 6pm. This dinner does bring about a cliche American dinner feel. Simple decorations nothing fanciful. The two stars are for the good service and the sides(most of them) and that's about it. Let's talk about the disappointing items; the caesar salad ($12) was nice but the portions were extremely little for that price. It's probably a kids portion at most. The buffalo wings were not fried crispy and some parts were still soft and jelly like. Pair that with an excessively sour vingerary hot sauce and it becomes a disaster. The buttermilk chicken was over cooked and some bits were brown and even slightly burnt. The chicken was mostly dry and was partially salvaged by the coleslaw. The Angus beef burgers was so sub standard; the beef patty was overly cooked and tough and almost too dry. Now what was good were the other side dishes. The curly fries were splendid. Do get the seasoned ones (additional $3 ish). The mac and cheese is much better than most outside. The hot dog with beef chilli was good as well. The burger buns were actually pretty good too. Service was good as well.

Highly recommended. Had the bbq burger, Frankfurter Roll and sweet potato fries. Sausage was excellent and very reasonably priced. Fries were crispy and well cooked and a very generous portions. BBQ burger was pretty good but could use an egg with it. Overall for the price, I felt it was very worth while. Service staff was also very pleasant, polite and helpful. Apologized profusely for the wait as they were quite crowded. Two thumbs up for our waiter, a lovely young bespectacled Indian man (I believe his name was Anis). Will definitely come again.

So happy to find curly fries so we had to order of course!! Had the HotDog and Philly Cheese Steak. Buns were nicely toasted and crispy on the edges and soft inside, great crunch! Cheese was nicely melted and I loved the fried onions! Fried onions were a great addition cos I hardly find it in SG. Sausage was nice and savory. Great job Chef Soon, Chef Cherry, and also the service crew Maran ? resto was neat and tidy ??

Came during a quiet period (after 1400hrs) I was shown to my table, where I sat for quite a while till they finally decided to take my order. When I asked about the menu shown on the official website and why it wasn’t reflected on the physical menu they had, the answer was that the menu had changed. Okay I can tolerate that, as not all companies bother to do housekeeping on their webpages. I decided to order the black angus cheeseburger with a milkshake, and I was told that milkshakes were not available today, no reason given, even though I can see the ice creams were in stock. Fine, I’ll give the benefit of the doubt, so I ordered just the burger. So when the burger arrived (waiting time was reasonable), I was disappointed that it did not come with fries at least. I mean, charging $24 for a burger, the least you could do is chuck some fries along with it right? Fine, I decided to proceed with the burger, and it was really really disappointing. There is a reason why you shape the patty to a similar shape and area to the bun, it’s so every bite is even, and the contents won’t slip and slide around easily. Somehow you failed to get that right. And the patty was overcooked, dry, under-seasoned. Getting charged $28 for THAT BURGER, it’s ridiculous. So yeah, please do whatever you need to and get it right maybe?

Read great things about this place and decided to give it a try. The decor was really nice just like a classic American diner in the 70s. Unfortunately that was the only nice thing about the place. The buffalo wings were very tiny and not worth the price. The potato skins were not appetising at all, not sure if it was the quality or the cooking but they were soggy and did not taste good. The smoked texas burger was on the dry side and wasn't juicy. The bun was decent though. My partner thought her truffled scrambled eggs with salmon tasted off. Did not have any truffle taste and the texture of the eggs was weird. My sister couldn't finish her chicken burger, took 2 bites and had to ask for ketchup before giving up after afew more bites. The milk shake was decent but definitely not worth $14. Quite disappointing cos we were excited coming here and the staff was really nice.

The burger was one of the best and fries were really good. Nice deco! The apple pie was a let down. The buffalo wings tasted great but rather skinny.
