I was shock with their potato chip price yesterday... it was over $10 for $6 at cold storage.. and I got something else and found out it was priced double...I think I might have to stop going there as I found the better way to get the same items... so sad.... more customers will leave once they found out this....

Just visited yesterday. Now they have good stock and choices. True they are expensive but all imports so I can’t complain. The stuff was helpful and I’m glad I have access to those healthy food. I’ll go back.

Widest range of organic and gluten free in Singapore. Ask cashier and he will point out best promo items, which can go for very cheap when clearing stock

This store is simply an iHerb reseller. They purchase goods online, double the price and put them on the shelf. They have a decent range, but no product knowledge whatsoever and the prices are crazy ($8 for a Quest Bar and $17 for a canister of salt). You can get exactly the same stock for less than half the price on iHerb and you can get most of it similarly cheaply from Redmart or Cold Storage. Do yourself a huge favour and ignore this place. They need a legitimate business model or they won't survive.

Brown Rice Paradise staff have started to ask all their fans to write reviews for them on Google since their ratings are low and clearly need a boost. I've been shopping with BRP for 4 years now and come every month or so. I know the staff well and I'm friendly with them. The place is very neighborhood like, a bit like a co-op, except that they are in downtown Orchard road. The staff also apparently have worked there for a decade and it shows in their knowledge of the products, ingredients and trends more so than Supernature or other such shops whose staff come and go more often. One case in point was when my son decided to try out the Keto diet and I was helping him look for food products. Supernature staff could barely tell me about Keto, but at BRP I was so well advised and they showed me a whole range of snacks I could buy. It's also not true that BRP is expensive. There are a few items that are more expensive and they probably get all the negative attention. But most of their products always have promotions and when they have products about to expire, they will just give it away to you rather than throw it out. I have gotten free $40 protein powder before and it is awesome. 5 stars for BRP. For your range of products to meet all types of diets, your knowledgeable staff, and your freebies!

Still not impressed by the service but the product selection continues to drastically improve. Real salt, coconut nectar, tamari travel packs, and GF pretzels, biscuits, crackers, and flours. This place has it all...except for service.

Unfair pricing and business practice. Do not shop here. Many people are under the impression that their prices are lower than Supernature- something their staff will tell you too but I just discovered that they charge people more for popular items within the same range in the same brand. Case in point: I just bought Mrs Meyers' Clean Day laundry detergent in Baby Blossom. This product costs $46.80 while all other laundry detergents of different scents in the same range under the same brand cost $42.80 each. Initially they said it's because the item is more popular (as if as that's a valid reason) , then they tried to say the ingredients cost more. In the end, they said the supplier charged them more. I went to the brand's homepage and found that all laundry detergents in the brand cost the same, regardless of scent. While I was calling Supernature to check on pricing, BRP processed payment. I found out that Supernature is charging the same price for all the laundry detergents in the same range - $42.60. (so the truth could be that BRP management, not the supplier, feels they could charge people more for a more popular item!) Upon hearing that, I asked for a refund straightaway. They refused, saying the receipt (which I would have only gotten after making the transaction) says no refund. WOW. They still feel it's right to charge people more even after getting discovered! Shame on you, BRP!

The pioneer of organic food in SG, I think BRP really goes out of its way to bring in a great range of products. Different from its more commercial, mass market peers BRP feels authentic. Service is good and they will even do WhatsApp/phone shopping and kerbside delivery for the busy shopper. I was impressed!
