★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet and peaceful burmese temple, can tell it was well maintained. Happen to drop by as my cousin’s family and me went for dinner nearby.
Finally see real monks in a temple, where compared to a few temples I went in Penang 2 weeks ago, only have counters that ask visitors for admission fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience at the peaceful Burmese Buddhist Centre in Singapore.
Head here to learn about Buddhism, attend classes and speak to the monks to ask any questions you may have.
You can freely roam around to see what's on offer and pray if you are a believer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an Indian, one feels very much at home at these temples, as these are close to you since you were taught these heritage narratives in school. The culture is not only known to you but dear too. These temples have the highest hygiene, solemn silence, very sacred atmosphere. You will find these places with a calming balm effect.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family has been visiting this temple for more than 10 years now. This temple is very serene, calming and peaceful. There's also monks whom you can approach for individual prayers by the side of the buddha. U may give monetary contributions to the temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and peaceful sanctuary. This temple has been a landmark in the Balestier area, and has served the local and Burmese communities well, especially on major days like Vesak Day. The main hall has a very majestic and lighted up Bodhisattva, offering devotees a very peaceful place for prayers. This temple is definitely a very blessed sanctuary for anyone who wishes to pray and find peace through Buddha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the oldest Theravada institution and the only Burmese Buddhist temple of its kind in Singapore. It was established in 1875. The grandeur of this temple is a must see if you are here. Once you enter the temple, you feel the serenity and peace. Because of COVID there are allocated boxes for you to sit and pray. You can buy candle light put in a pink lotus flower and give offerings to Buddha. You can make donations and get blessings from the priest. It was really an amazing experience for me. It will be also for you. ?
