β β β β β Bought a french loaf at Toa Payoh Central n after cutting it open, shocked to see 2 big hollow inside the loaf !!!! Worst french loaf I ever see with 2 big n deep hollows inside it! The staff there are very rotten arrogant service, no price tag on french loaf n when I asked for the price fr the staff w a spectacle, she just walked away to the counter! After asking her twice she replied with a sulky face n busied idle talk w the sour faced cashier. Don't buy fr the shop again.

β β β β β The waffles are very good. The breads are generally good also. At night around 10pm or 11pm they usually have a sale to clear their stocks.

β β β β β Birds spotted in the shop. Ever get diarrhea after eating their bread. Very bad. They just let the birds move around in and out the shop.

β β β β β Very value for money, bought this assam red tea from friendly staff, i requested, less sugar, no ice & omit black pearl which are included in the price of $1.20. Also offer fresh soymilk @ $1.00.

β β β β β Fast and affordable freshly made hot waffle! Got a peanut butter waffle for 1.60 and it was nice and tasty! The peanut butter is nicely salted giving it a wonderful sweet & salty flavour!
Also picked up the triangular wedge cheesecake they were famous for since a decade back

β β β β β Waffle was not well cooked. Batter not well cooked inside and very soft. And when I ordered cheese waffle, they gave a angry face like dw to make, lazy to make liddat. Thn still ask me want add chocolate anot. I say I want cheeseee means cheeseee la. Very bad! No wonder no customer!

β β β β β Been here a couple of times to buy beverages and was served by the same auntie. She will just stare blankly at you before you give the order. And definitely doesnβt look happy to put down what is she doing to help with your order. Totally a put off. I donβt expect a 5 star service but 1 star is good enough as she has done my drink. No smile, no hello. Just a cold blank stare at a customer, me standing in front to order.

β β β β β have seen this shop around for over 20 years and possibly longer.
It has been revamped numerous times so as the faces. That gives me the impression that ownership keeps changing hand while maintaining the old shop name.
It is very wrong to be selling expired items not fit human consumption. $10 is a small expense but delivering inedible items can be upsetting.
I would recommend avoiding this shop at all cost.
You may wish to visit to experiment yourself to verify my claim. That will be for a good laugh and not a disappointment.
Considering that we are going through a pandemic the staffs were highly inconsiderate by not wearing their masks upon serving and baking the dough.
