Canopy HortPark - HortPark

Ordered the full breakfast and was honestly quite disappointed with the portion. Half of the plate was covered with salad vegetables :/ and there were only 3 cubes of potatoes. The sourdough toast were very very thin too. The dish was served really quickly though. Visited this place because they are pet-friendly but we might not return anymore?

Ambience is good and cooling environment. Ordered the salmon salad. Taste great and the ingredients blends nicely. However I couldn’t say the same for the beer battered fish & chip. The fish taste bland. The tartar sauce & ketchup barely managed to salvage an otherwise disastrous fish & chip.

- Good coffee - Limited menu for veg items ( 2 items - fries and impossible burger I think) & very short staffed. They are polite and helpful . on a Sunday we had to wait 25 mins to grab a table and only 2 attendants managing the whole place. Asked us to place our orders in the start of the queue itself to help us with our orders. Hope the restaurant improves this with more staff and more menu items. - Lovely ambiance and beautiful views. Worth the visit.

Situated inside Hort Park, very romantic and relaxed place. Not very far from Bus Stop. I went on rainy day and night. I would suggest to go around 6:30. So that you can get good feelings and the most of Canopy. Food wise it tastes good. Drinks are so so. Friendly staff. After dinner take a walk to Park behind. It will be worth spending 3 hours overall. Nice place.

Canopy is a lovely restaurant nestled inside HortPark. If you are not driving you can take a cab to get here. And there are plenty of buses just outside of HortPark if you are looking at ways to get to Canopy. The service was great both from the staff who served us and from the staff who waited on us as we checked in. ??? The food menu is not extensive, yet they serve great food, yes i repeat great food ??. Drinks are priced competitively, I missed the Happy Hour pricing. The Air conditioning was great, the ambience fantastic. With all the LIVE plants within Canopy, the restaurant had themed along the lines of HortPark which was great. We did not have to wait long for our food which was served Hot ?. The surroundings are obviously beautiful and so is Canopy. Beautiful with good food. Brad from Canopy who served us, always wore a smile on his face, was friendly and even suggested what would be best for us. A shout out to Brad ?. Whata nice ambience! It was cooling and full of greens! We had to change our dinner venue last minute as we had to bring our dog with us. This place is pet friendly!The menu is simple. Our starter was the calamari and mushroom soup. The soup is quite good but the calamari was a little tough. We order fish and chips, salmon and lamb rack as mains. The fish batter was a little too thick for my liking but fish was ok. My husband had his lamb rack raw and he loved it! We also had the apple crumble but it was too sweet for us. Overall good experience.

Located in Hort park, surrounded by greenery. There’s even a outdoors seating area that’s pet friendly. Good selection of pizza and the usual western entrees. The fish and chips was particularly good with two large pieces of red snapper golden fired and sides of salad and fries. Even though there are many tables, do book ahead for weekends.

Finally got the chance to visit this place, highly touted on all front. Truly it did not disappoint. Great location among the greenery, casual and upbeat vibes, plus great food. Delightful smoothies came in wonderful colours. Grilled breakfasts done just right, pizza's done to the point, plus a pleasant surprise with the lightly grilled Spanish Pork, although just a tad fatty. Only downside, it also comes with a healthy price tag.
