Zoie helped me and my fiance with customizing our engagement ring with a heirloom diamond. She asked about designs we liked and showed us examples from her store for visualization. This helped us to select a design that would make the diamond stand out and pull the whole design together. After a few weeks, she followed up with a rendered drawing of the ring. She was attentive to feedback and addressed my worries in a follow up drawing. It took about 1 month for the ring to be ready and we love it! My mother-in-law was also very impressed how the design made the diamond look bigger. It was an enjoyable process and I am looking to customize a pair of pearl earrings with Zoie for my upcoming wedding. Carat55 is truly the go to place to get that proposal ring (and wedding bands). My fiancée and I initially swung by Carat55 through our friend's recommendation, to see the proposal rings they had. Zoie was extremely patient in explaining all the different Cs for diamonds and whatnot, as we were clueless back then. She also listened to our preferences and made recommendations accordingly, without being too pushy about closing a sale. During our appointment, she felt more like a friend than a salesperson, and made us comfortable thoroughout. Towards the end, she didn't try to close the sale immediately, even though we had already picked out a few designs we liked, but instead told us to take time to think it through first as it was a big purchase. My fiancée and I truly appreciated how she didn't try to pull a quick sale on us as we were really clueless when we first stepped in. Truly stellar customer service. Eventually, few months after I proposed, my fiancée and I actually went back to get our wedding bands done through them as we felt they really went above and beyond in their services. We got in touch with Zoie at a rather late time for our si dian jin and she managed to get the items ready just in time for the ceremony! Got my engagement ring from Carat55. The whole process of was smooth. Zoie guided me through the understanding of diamond specification, pros and cons of different ring setting design, so that I can choose the best one that suit my liking and budget. When we went down, Zoie and her team were very welcoming and patient with us and made helpful suggestions on our selections. We were able to find The Rings for us which were then made in our sizes.
