Carl's Jr @ Marina Square - 6 Raffles Blvd

Tried the Chargrilled Chicken burger but didn’t quite like the taste. Still prefer their beef menu. Five stars for good service & cleanliness.

I have not visited in a few years since they closed down the one at Tampines One. I can say it was my favourite premium burger joint back in the days. I just visited on 28 May 2022 again after making a rare online Lazada purchase on a Chilli Cheeseburger combo which retailed at 13.50 SGD. The business was really good with seats all taken up at 845 pm. I wonder if it had to do with Army Open House 22 at F1 pit. Nevertheless I found a two seater right at the back corner. This corner is like a hot zone out of the reach of the air conditioning. I am glad that the rudimentary salad bar is still there and also there is a good selection of cold beverages, including nestle lemonade and green tea and a separate ice tea and lemon wedges. The salsa sauce was empty, so was the chilli dispenser. I told a Eurasian looking, bent back male server about it but he didn't take any action. I had to tell the lean Malay man working at the counter and a Chinese lady and they took action to replenish it. The ice dispenser was not working well and many customers were seen having problems getting ice from it. The food is excellent. Though I think the chilli beef sauce in the burger was not as good as years ago. Refilling of drinks seemed to be allowed and customers were making full use of it. I look forward to visiting it again.

eagerly came for the same huge solid juicy chicken burger thats carl junior known for wherby i ate ages back but unfortunately got a "shock" cos the bread may have remained large, but the meat patty has been reduced by half its size, salty dry & worsened by the tiny bacon strips ?? felt the huge portion of crosscut fries was to overlay the justification of price. nevertheless this may explain the lack of hype from the fast food chain. dissapointment is an understatement. it was bad, making everybody sad. not worthy! ?

Came for the usual American comfort burgers and man they hit the spot! The burgers were good and the onion rings plus Fried Zucchini sides we got were nice and crispy too. This branch is also quite kid friendly as they provided baby chairs and there were other families with kids around when we came. Staff were also friendly & promptly cleaned after each diners.

I love Hardee’s when I was young. After I was able to spend my earned money, all Hardess’s was closed in HK. I recently found that there is a restaurant called Carl’s JR in Singapore, which is brother of Hardess’s. Last time I went Hardess’s was 5 years ago in Cairo. I ordered famous star and crosscut fries. Delicious burger and fries. I personally love crosscut fries and curly fries.

Oh Carl's Jr...how far you've fallen. Burger patty was dry and fries were just ok. Whatever happened to the amazing criss-cut fries? They were so good. It's been a number of years since I last visited and after this recent meal, it'll be a long while till I return for a meal.

This is not the Carl's junior I remember back in the days. Long story short: - No more free refills - No more free flow condiments - no more salsa sauce and all the sauce station that you remembered - price still the same - drinks are now bottled drinks. It's understandable that the above mentioned services has stopped due to covid. However it does not mean there is no other alternatives. Carl's junior management probably became lazy. To returning customers: I suggest do not come back to Carl's junior until they are willing to provide the same service like they did before To Carl's junior management: Covid is not an excuse to completely stop free flow drinks and condiments station. There should be another alternative.

Carl’s Jr is one of my favourite fast food chain in Singapore before the arrival of shake shack and Five Guys. The chargrilled Angus beef burger is big and juicy. The all star meal is good value and I treat it as kids meal at Carl’s Jr for my kids. However, since covid, there is no more free flow soft drinks and salsa bar, which is the best past of Carl’s Jr. nevertheless, it’s still one of the best in Singapore.
