β β β β β This is a great place to master the art of pottery. Classes are very structured to Ensure that you have your basics patted down as you progress through the classes. Both Teachers, Mr and Mrs Lim are very experienced potters and have a passion to teach and impart their knowledge to their students.
Everyone is like a family at the studio and we learn more than just pottery, but also Chinese and cooking skills :D
Highly recommended to anyone whoβs interested to pick up pottery as a hobby or profession.

β β β β β My partner took to me a class as a birthday treat. As someone who could at best be decribed as an absolute novice, I can honestly say that I throughly enjoyed the class and would love to come again! Behold my bowl!

β β β β β An amazing place to learn the techniques and intricacies that goes into making ceramics. Mr Lim is extremely passionate in teaching and takes time and effort to pinpoint specific mistakes that learners make. Mrs Lim is very caring and makes the studio feel like home. The atmosphere is very welcoming and interaction between learners of different levels is common. Although the location is a bit far for westies (including me), the trip there is worth it for the experience. 11/10 would recommend it to anyone wanting to take up ceramics.

They not only make and sell pottery but can also make art pieces based on your aspiration.
The 2 masters also give pottery classes.. so far thousands have learnt from them this past few decades...

β β β β β I wanted to deepen my skills in pottery and decided to continue learning handbuilding at Ceramic House. The course is very well-thought out and structured to help build up your skills in handbuilding techniques (which will translate to helping you when you progress to wheel-throwing).
Mr Lim is a great teacher who willingly shares his vast experience and knowledge with all his students; he is able to guide, correct and troubleshoot with you what went wrong. The wide variety of glazes (that he makes!) will leave you spoilt for choice for how best to bring out your piece.
Donβt forget to also check out Mrs Limβs works: sheβs incredibly skilled in making animals.
Itβs a lovely environment as well, where it feels like studio members are all learning from one another even if weβre at different stages of our pottery journey.
