Indeed, this Muslim stall at the corner of a local coffeeshop makes dishes with a passion. Despite the curries and fried dishes, after having a meal here, I do not unnecessarily gains weight- maybe the ingredients they used are of good quality? Strongly recommend!!

Its closing its stall here and relocating to block 105 Hougang from september 2021. Its called Chai Chee Nasi Lemak, but situated at Hougang. I usually frequent this stall after my nightshift (8am to 9am) to get some food before I hit the sack. If you want a decent nasi lemak you dont need to travel all the way to Boon Lay or Changi. Without fail you will b greeted with a long but fast moving queue. That tells you, how famous the stall is. Their usual crowds are people before they leave for work or senior citizen buying their breakfast. On weekends its people buying breakfast for their family. Run by two brother in laws, with friendly smile and very down to earth personality. Even though they specialise in nasi lemak; they do serve Nasi Padang, Mee Rebus, Mee Siam, Lontong, Otak-Otak, Curry puffs and other Malay kuehs. Its all subjected time and availability to avoid disappointment get there earlier. Open Sunday to Thurday, closed of Fridays. They are open as early as 5am.

quite nice nasi lemak but sold out quickly and only open in the morning. friendly hawkers. i would rate 5 stars if operating hours more convenient.

Wonderful gem for a good plate of sambal goreng, nasi lemak, lontong and mee siam. The beef rendang I had today is abit tough and should be cooked longer though the sotong was perfect and soft on the bite! The sambal goreng with serunding was fabulous!

I am glad Chai Chee Nasi Lemak is still offering value meals at $3. Stall assistants are friendly and patient. I recommend Nasi Lemak, Mee Rebus and Otah.

Mee rebus is good. Chicken wings, peru, fish fillet are normal and a little pricy. Mackerel otah is value for money.

My favourite stall for Mee Siam. When they were at 322 Hougang Ave 5, there was always a long queue, so I was sad to see their business dropped a lot after they moved to their current location, despite maintaining the same good food standard. Have tried their Mee Siam, Mee Rebus and Nasi Lemak. All are good and at reasonable price.
