Singapore is strategically situated on major international sea routes – Straits of Singapore and Malacca – and connects Pacific and Indian Oceans making it economically important. It acts as centre for international communications, transportations and trade to southeast Asia.

A certain obnoxiously uncaring pococurante, Ms Toh, takes up a certain position, amongst the ranks, within a certain department, that's in charge of sign on cases, under navy sponsorship. Time & again, when you email her, she replies very curtly, albeit in the written word, terse replies, that do Not answer, nor reply, what is being asked. Irony is, she's supposedly the first contact, as a care person. As it turns out, according to a yak non-stop, talkalot, non-listening, seemingly born without ears, loves to talk, doesn't care to listen, an absolute non-listerner, quarrelsome as hell, named Ms Tang, from another sub contractor division; an apparent new automated system has been implemented, resulting in delays of allowance payment, to be credited in December 2020, to be delayed, three weeks later, till 3rd week of January 2021. All of which were not mentioned, prior to inquiry. The extremely frustrating thing is, these government and affiliated personnel, do not care to respond professionally, nor do they care to illuminate things, so that, there would be clarity in explanatory. Such generally blasé attitudes; and off-putting behaviours, reflect poorly, on the powers that be.
