Went down a few days ago with my wife and we tried their omakase. Ordered another dozen of oysters at the end of the 9 course meal because they were sooo good. Good food, fantastic ambience and excellent service. High recommended

We were a party of 4 for dinner. Upon arrival, we were told a large portion of the menu was not available. The omakase menu is not available. The entire Japanese menu is not available. The baby back ribs were not available. It didn't make for a lot of choices. We ended up ordering 3 steaks (medium rare) and a Turkey. All items came out cold. The steak had great flavour, but was only 1 was medium rare. The other 2 were overcooked. We also ordered the Rosti, it came on a hot iron pan, but the Rosti was cold. The oysters were fantastic but we had them natural so no cooking required. The service was also below par. The staff showed no initiative whatsoever. He seemed more intent on talking with his girlfriend. We had a small accident with the a spilt water jug. There was no offer to help wipe up the table, replacement of wet napkins etc... He just looked at it and walked away. We had some high hopes when made teh booking but it was a fairly disappointing night.The interior design and decor were great, but spoilt by all sorts of other storage items piled in a corner. Overall, it felt like the entire kitchen staff and service staff took the night off and it was just left with 2 stand-in staff who would rather just shut the doors and go home.

Checking out Chapter Co by Oyster Co.?, a newly launched private dining area providing Omakase and ala carte. Hidden behind a bookshelf, Chapter Co is out to make only the best of first impressions with its luxuriously-decorated themed. Upon entering, I am captivated by the posh Mercedes to photo-worthy props from plush sofas I order some of their signature dishes to tried, Fresh Oysters ? with Caviar. Each oyster is meticulously clean, fresh, creamy and topped off with caviar, just so heavenly. Signatures Tapas Platter consist of - Stir Fried Beef Cubes The quality of the beef shine through as it was highly flavourful and tender without being chewy. - Black pepper chawanmushi w/ jumbo crab meat Love this soft and silky texture of the steamed egg that glided through effortlessly. The black pepper is not very pronounce that let the fresh sweetness crab meat shine. - Soft Shell Crab Unlike most of the Soft Shell Crab I tried, this is very meaty! Perfect crispy batter without being overly oily. As a matter of fact, I didn't notice any grease from the soft shell crab. Unique place, decent food and drink. Quite like the sous vide turkey dish. Interesting entrance and decor for date night, but early reservation required for ideal table choices (Mahjong table highly recommended).
