β β β β β The receptionist is very irresponsible. I have called to ask if doctor is in today since it's cny period and she answered yes. When my husband brought my 3 year old son over to see the doc 1 hour later, she told him need to book to see doc and the day is fully booked and refuse to let my son see the doc. Anyone with basic customer service would have said that during the call. When I called to confront her, she said I didn't mention I wanted to book. But she didn't tell me booking was required when I called to ask if doc is in today.! My son is already not well and had to make this wasted trip and wasted our time making the trip down. I will NEVER go back to this tcm again....I called another tcm at amk, I asked the same if their tcm was around, the lady who answered advised me need to book to see doc. This is just basic customer service..the Thomson tcm clinic staff is just has bad attitude and disregard patients' well being. Go visit if you like to be mistreated.

When ask how many patients before my turn ,U KNOW WHAT SHE REPLY :
U can't see got peoples or not ,IF no then is your turn!
If u not happy to work, Then go home sleep!!!
Terrible attitude !

β β β β β To be fair, I would have to say Dr Huang Jin Lai is very good as always and the medicine has always been effective to my cough.
However, I have always felt pressured to call for appointment - because of very terrible attitude from the lady who picked up call.
She will either be:
- Sarcastic
- Rude
- Unclear in her message
- Ignorant
at most of the times.
There is not a single time that she fails to be rude.
During my visit at the medical hall, she was always very rude.
I always wonder if she ever be nice to people or why would she be so rude to customer who has done nothing to her.
Great doctor, great place with terrible staff (or could she be the lady boss) - such a disappointment.

β β β β β Great TCM. I have been coming here for a while now. He can tell my issues without me telling him and it's spot on. Medicines aren't the easiest to drink but it works plus affordable priced.
Some complain about the receptionist auntie. I have no issue at all. She is actually very nice in person. She isn't rude just chop chop. Don't expect small chat on the phone. Knowing what you want and make it a short is the key.

β β β β β I was so stress after reading the bad reviews of the receptionist. However my experience was really pleasant today. Took the medication today....and 2nd dose on Saturday. Hope will get energetic and better soon

β β β β β these traditional doctors have no ethics. Keep dragging the patients sickness just like milking a money cow. You can visit them over 20 times and they will continue prescribing less effective medicine for you They simply drag till the patient dies. Avoid them at all and look elsewhere
