โ โ โ โ โ Boat ticket costs $4 per pax. Went on a weekday morning, a short wait of 10min to get the required no. of pax for boat ride to start.
Good place to go esp if you can cycle. Rental costs from $7 to $25 (new bike). $7 was good enough for us. As a leisure cyclist, there were some upslope moments where it's easier to dismount & push. Saw wild boar and a number of monkeys (families). Didn't pause to take pic, just wanted to cycle past them safely.
Quarry view & Check Jawa were the highlights.
The food at the tze cha place was alright. Went more for the ambience.
Try to go early in the morning and end it by noon, before it gets too hot.

โ โ โ โ โ Our 2nd trip there with the kids. Enjoy the seaview n nature. Look out for low tide timing. Also, Beware of monkeys snatching your bags and food at the bicycle parking area.

โ โ โ โ โ Nicest place to chill out is a huge rock we chance upon on the way to the platform bridge. Can be crowded on weekends best to go on a weekday.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice place, but a lot of rubbish along path. Island is accessable by quick and cheap ferry ride (4SGD per person/one way). There is no time schedule - the ferry departs when 12 passengers are gathered

โ โ โ โ โ Board walk was wonderful. We were there during high tide, hence we didn't see many sea creatures. Nonetheless, it was a nice walk with a view. You'll see lots of crabs at the mangrove section. We saw a wild boar & some monkeys too! If u are planning to cycle to Chek Jawa, do note that u will need to cycle on some off-road track to get there. I wouldn't recommend it (cycling there) if you have young children. Else, make sure u grab the mobile number of one of the taxi uncles before u depart. That would be handy in case u want to call for one to get back.

โ โ โ โ โ My family and I walked to Chek Jawa. We arrived at 830am and ended our walk at approximately 1215pm. It was absolutely breathtaking; The sea breeze, the view. We made a lot of stops along the way to appreciate the live animals (mainly the mudskippers and crabs) and also, the trees and plants. I am glad that there were information boards spreaded out across the wetland. The view up the tower was also breathtaking when you could see the top of the trees against the sea. Overall, it was quite an enjoyable walk.
