★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT engage Cheo & Tio for your legal matters, including redemption of mortgage loans. Cheo sent bill upfront when the matter has not been settled yet, and when we said we pay once the matter is settled, he wrote if we do not pay him, we can look for another lawyer. We find this unprofessional. We called up another lawyer, and we only pay when matter is settled. So this is market practice. Be aware!
