Chestnut North MTB trail - Chestnut Ave

Hit the MTB trails on one. We did it... Loved it... And we also met a handsome snake that dropped out of the branches.

Excellent track for mountain biking. There is a parallel track for walking / trekking also. This is an interesting single track with many different off shoots catering to different capability levels. The difficultly level varies from green circle, to blue square till even double black diamond. Even as you start you have possible choices of taking the easy route or challenging yourself. Some nice short downhills, drops, roots and rocky areas as well as some short uphills. While different offshoots could result is different distances, but on average it is about 6-7 KM ride. Make sure to carry your supplies like water, energy bar, repair kits with you, as you will not find anything inside the jungle track. Very centrally located, with car park, bike shop etc. Clean and well maintained toilets also available next to car park.
